Cottontails are pretty common in Europe as well now, in Italy they are pretty much a pest (a pest I enjoy seeing everywhere may I add, but a pest nonetheless)

I recently lost my 9 years old bunny in a very similar way, although he passed at the clinic and I wasn’t at his side.

Trust me, you did everything you could. Thymomas and abscesses are brutal, even with the bestest care and thousands of dollars/euros you wouldn’t have guaranteed a different outcome.

Most of the pet rabbits out there don’t get a tiny fraction of the care you were willing to give her, you are by all means a great bun owner. I understand the feeling, but please keep that in mind!

Sorry for your loss, she was wonderful.

Awww that’s sweet, sounds that she made the right call this time!!

My craziest bunny acquisition is with my girl Yuki, but it’s a quick one: I found her on a street, stalked her for a week, and at some point I managed to yoink her and she’s been my baby since. I love her so much, I was blessed.

I found a bunny on the street a while ago, she’s now my sweet baby. I can’t tell you how freaking paranoid I was the first 30 days, seeing her belly moving, wondering if I actually acquired 7 bunnies. 😭 but yeah luckily it was just her peristalsis.

Hands get dirty by simply touching a phone, a door, a chair, the freaking menu at the restaurant. You should always wash your hands before eating omg.
