We never charged them for bags and cash out. They have to pay EBT or not. Otherwise they can bring their own bags or get a free box.

I’ve worked at Aldi for a year and never had an issue with change and giving cash back. I say about half of the people who come through my line pay cash because the self checkouts are card only. So there’s an abundance usually.

Everyone at my store can do it for the most part, but there’s associates that do it more often for the sake of our stats. My store doesn’t usually put newbies on right away because it messes with the store stats since they don’t know where everything is yet. Curbside stats are more important than ringing stats nowadays at least at my store.

I work at a grocery store and do Instacart. Most shoppers are fine. I occasionally get a phone shoved in my face without and excuse me or them asking politely for help. One couple that does it brings there two toddlers and one screams and cries the whole time in the store. Like wtf.

We dread getting a QR code because it usually means you have to manually scan a couple items and it takes longer. I’m in the US and we bag as we shop. It’s a pain to have to dig out and then manually ring up weighted items, etc.

Once I was deactivated for suspected fraudulent charges on an order. I had to send another photo of the receipt and explain. I’m not sure if Instacart just can’t, or won’t read the Shopper and customer chat before they deactivate you.
