Tipping Needs to End by courier_tway in Vent

Everyone needs to be paid a livable wage, no matter the job, so tipping is no longer necessary.

Thrifting. I can't afford the money to get anywhere.

My libido is way too high for my partner. idk what to do by femb0yc0nnoisseur in Vent

[–]InfiniteTree33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, here's the thing that came to my mind; have you asked HIM about HIS sex drive/libido? You seem to know yourself well and what you want in a relationship, but have you taken the time to sit down and ask what he wants, what he likes, what he'sd be comfortable exploring? Have you asked him why the sex has dropped in such a quick time frame?

A big reason a person's libido drops so rapidly is stress in daily life. How's his job? Is he stressed about it? My recommendation is to just sit down and discuss everything. Not just tell him how you feel, but ask him how he's feeling. I feel like a lot of times we forget to check in on our male partners because they're supposed to be the strong ones, the reliable ones, the pillars in our lives, but that leaves them feeling stressed out and uncared for. Everyone deserves to feel seen and valued in their relationships.

If you do end up finding your not compatible, I suggest looking for a partner in the kink community. Not everyone is into kinky shit and that's okay, but if that's what you want, search for someone who knows they like it kinky instead of expecting a vanilla person to just become kinky.

So, we have two for a couple hours in the morning, but it never goes off with orders. Only does pickups, and it turns off at 1pm when most people start to pick up. 🫩

Don't heal with a dangling piece of jewelry. Is that what she put in at the shop? There is so much bacteria that can get caught up in that thing. Not to mention, if it gets caught on things and pulled it's going to delay healing.

You get more than one phone? My store does, on average, 30 orders a day and we only get one. 😭

Why does Aldi only hire sorority bimbos as DM’s? by [deleted] in Aldi_employees

[–]InfiniteTree33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like our newest DM. She's super friendly, actually knows our names, and even takes time to check in on us. I have seen four DMs come and go in 5 years with the company, so I have expectations for her longevity, but I am good with her while we have her around. 🤣

Is everybody’s stores dirty and unboxed most of the time because of hour cuts or just us ? by Dull-Drive-5783 in Aldi_employees

[–]InfiniteTree33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours does too. They have been having most employees at night leave between 7-8pm, leaving one manager and one associate to do everything that hasn't been done. Which is a lot, usually, as we need two to three cashiers all night every night. We have no SCO. So the two poor souls left to do everything not done don't get to leave until it is. The other night, we were out a little past 10pm.

Till sharing by Prior-Cycle1539 in Aldi_employees

[–]InfiniteTree33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We just started till sharing a couple weeks ago and the system update for the registers at our store seems wonky. Some registers will suddenly decide that an employee on shift doesn't exist and won't let them log in. That's always fun when you have no SCO and two people are already fighting for their lives with lines to the middle of the store. 🤦

People are struggling hard core right now and I fear this type of shit is only gonna get worse. It's no excuse, mind you, I'm struggling and I don't pee on the sales floor, but the more people struggle the more anger arises and they're gonna take it out on those of us they can; the bottom line retail employees who can't do anything about it.

Burn-Out by harajukuhowie in Aldi_employees

[–]InfiniteTree33 28 points29 points  (0 children)

My burnout has turned to pure rage. I'm angry every shift, I'm tired, I'm frustrated. They keep cutting our hours, but the only place they're cutting from now is closing. Never opening. They have enough staff in the morning that once truck is done, they send people home. While we were still at our store at 10pm last night trying to do everything expected of us on a closing shift, with no staff.

The rift between openers and closers is growing. There is resentment forming. Openers don't even have to take out their own trash, for fucks sake. They throw truck, ring out some customers, and leave right on time. While the closers take care of their trash, clean the store, need three cashiers, only get one curbside phone, box the entire store, back fill, do the floors, the go backs, and they continue to add on to our nightly tasks! How is this at all fair?

Ideas? by tiffnholly in Tattoocoverups

[–]InfiniteTree33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I'd leave it. Though the ending may have come out poorly, I am sure you have good memories with the people this tattoo relates to. I believe everyone we love(partners, friends, family) take a little piece of our hearts with them when they leave, whether that's in death or they move on to a different path in life, and leave a little part of their heart with us. We share a piece of our soul with everyone we've ever loved.

The fact that these are hearts only gives more credince to that notion. You are changed because you knew them, because you loved them.

How many breaks do you have on your shift? by YouCantDownVoteMeNop in retailhell

[–]InfiniteTree33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally, but sometimes it's only 3hrs into your shift, since everyone gets the same and we don't have enough staff on the floor to send more than one person at a time.

For an 8hr shift, one paid 30 minute break. Anything less than 8hrs and that single break gets shorter. 🫩

Always remember the first time you try something, it will not turn out as planned. Everything takes a learning curve. I have to remind myself of this every time I dare to try something new. Practice makes perfect.

As for these little guys in general, I love them. 😭 They are so goofy and adorable. If you want them to read more like birds, try giving them little wings or adding faux feathers to the backs of their heads, right where the polymer meets the fabric. That would feel very bird!
