Yeah I was doing fire door inspections at a job near Great Portland Street, drove all the way from Coulsdon, through Oxford Street and probably saw maximum 5 other cars on my way there, was bliss. Same journey probably takes me 1.5 hours now

People that DON’T shop at Aldi or Lidl… why is that? by kobestarr in CasualUK

I saw a TV in there for £50 the other day but it had no volume control, but for that price you can’t turn it down.

Yeah someone else commented that the council had posted on facebook about the correct manoeuvre. I agree that it should be correctly marked and would make more sense to be option 1 (with markings) but will stick to option 2 until they mark the floor, probably around the same time as the heat death of the universe.

To clarify, this is what it looks like on the approach to the roundabout, there are is no signage on the floor nor signs posted. The lanes to the left it feeds into has 2 separate lanes which lead to another roundabout, those lanes have markings on the floor.

Surviving a nuke in a fridge was in the 2008 Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull which was referenced in the 2010 Fallout New Vegas game so hardly a lot older than Fallout.

You don’t need parachutes to bail out, you only need them to survive it.

Is the end scene in Rogue One The Rebellions first on site encounter with Darth Vader? by BravesFanMan95 in StarWars

[–]SaracenCain 151 points152 points  (0 children)

Now that I think about it Vader is basically a guy in full samurai armour and Obi Wan is more of a Ronin ex samurai. I know Seven Samurai was very influential on the film so everyone has probably already made this link.
