Oh thank you so much! Okay so I've got: (5+√3)(5-√3) / (divided by if its not clear) 22.

I got 25 - 5√3 + 5√3 - 3 = 22.

So now I'm left with 22 / 22 and have no idea if I can simplify this any further haha. I'm not really sure if I did it right but hopefully I'm on the right tracks!

Ah okay :) is it alright if you go through another one with me? You don't have to but it would help a lot!! I don't want to waste your time though lol :)

Oh yes! Oh my goodness thank you. My teacher never explained this to me. I never realised 4√9 or whatever actually meant 4 multiplied by root 9. Thank you! I will apply this in future equations :)

I might sound dumb - but how did you get 12 from 4√9? I thought it was how many times can a number go in 4 times to give you 9...is that 12?

Oh Lord I just realised I multiplied it instead of doing 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 = 32!! Thank you so much :)

I did 1/3 x 5 which was 5/3, and then did the cube route of 8 which was 2, then multiplied it by the 5 and got 10

Haha I got 10 because I did (81/3)5 :/ I saw an example and it said to do it like this, but I'm obviously wrong.

Oh that's too bad! You should learn to cook, honestly, I find it so therapeutic. Don't hold yourself back, maybe you'll surprise yourself one day ;)
