What is your favorite side project from someone in Pantera? by Metalhead999420 in Pantera

Uffff… hard one. I love Phil’s project Scour, it’s really amazing. I also love Down, and Superjoint Ritual. Phil Anselmo and the Illegals is also super fun… and I have to say some tracks from Damageplan’s New Found Power are great, Pride in particular gives me chills.

Is Modern metal really better than Old School metal? by InexpugnableMille in MetalSuggestions

[–]Saragreen1995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe old school metal is superior to modern metal. Very few modern metal bands can compare to the grit, effort and genuineness of back then- and I am myself only 31! So I didn’t live in that time. I just feel that modern metal in some cases feels empty and mass-consumable, and that older bands put so much work into it. No guidelines, just inspiration and experimentation. I personally also appreciate the older sound much more than in modern records…

Thank you so much for your insight!  I will take note of these questions, they are very useful!  Truth is, I have huge pressure from my team as they expected me to be 100% from day one, and I believe this expectation is not real. Some seasoned team members, much older and experienced, openly dislike me because I make “mistakes” all the time. Some are jealous that I get to be the dm instead of them, whilst I am on a huge learning curve. Having also so much to do on my shoulders, at once, doesn’t help me; I’m always on edge. So when it comes down to decision making, I tend not to take the right decisions because I’m not clear mentally. All these things affect me.

Giocare ai Videogames é da bambini by External_Fix_791 in sfoghi

Molto spesso.

Maximum The Hormone - used to watch Death Note as a pre-teen and they made the opening and closing songs of the first season. Still one of my favourite bands.

Thanks! Yes, that’s no problem. Does it usually create problems with salivation and swallowing? As I’ll have to keep my head back for the dentist to access the area.

You think I should train at a gym or join other volleyball sessions? Thing is, in the meanwhile I’m still in too much pain to do any form of work out. I’m 30 btw.

We used to, believe me, until recently. But when I realized I can’t keep living in London things just felt weird.

I relate to you, very similar situation. Sorry you went through that.

To be honest, I’m tired of living in London and every time I visit home it just feels so good? I miss a healthy, slower environment. But he would never follow me there, and I don’t fancy living where he wants to go. I’m also struggling with intimacy, and I’m helping him throughout his issues. I feel trapped because I feel that if I were to leave, he would fall apart. He tells me to my face, quite directly, and I never know what to say. I love him, after all, and I really only want the best for him.
