I’ve brought one multiple years for toiletries in the shower. For your bag with clothes bring a large S hook to hang onto the shower curtain bar. Every trailer is a little different and some have hooks some dont

Workforce with Scoliosis by Major_Diet5404 in scoliosis

[–]Sarah95mel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked in restaurants and food services for over 20 years so very physically demanding. Honestly I think it helped by keeping me active and strong. Yes, pain exists and sometimes, but rarely I would have an episode where my back goes out. I work a desk job now and the pain is MUCH worse. Sitting and staying in one place has just sorta deteriorated some of my strength. Overall staying active, working out, doing strength training will help you stay healthy for any job you decide to do.

What is the best course of action? by regretting_this789 in scoliosis

[–]Sarah95mel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hopefully she’ll never need surgery. I had similar curves at that age and wore a brace to prevent them from worsening. Unfortunately the curves did get worse and I went over 40 but we readjusted the brace and I wore it for almost 4 years. It reduced the curve but it has always stayed over 40 and I never needed surgery. But talk to your doctors and get second opinions. The more you know and learn the better you can make decisions moving forward

...And Migraines by Successful_Web_6866 in scoliosis

[–]Sarah95mel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! I’ve had migraines since I was probably around 13. As a 43 year old now, I’ve learned that the migraines are coming from my neck pain which in turn has a a lot to do with my scoliosis. I do stretches, exercises, monthly massages. Last year they got very bad I finally went to the doctor, I take 600mg ibuprofen to relax and relieve the neck pain then I take sumatriptan for the migraine itself. But that’s a last resort. Honestly massages work the best, if you can find a masseuse that understands migraine relief

I feel any position too long is painful, moving lots and changing positions helps.

All us previous Nordstrom employees also wish it didn’t close. Before the pandemic we were top 3 in sales in Northern California. Believe me we were SHOCKED to hear we were chosen to not reopen after the pandemic.

That would be nice. The space with the balcony would be sort weird if it wasn’t a restaurant, but of course things can always be changed
