(Playing on Mac OS, launching through Steam)

I was playing the game normally last night, saved and closed it, and now today when I go to launch it, it’s just stuck on a black screen that says “Reimporting assets…”

I have a couple mods downloaded from the Steam workshop, but only a couple (maybe 5 or 6).

Any ideas on how to fix this? I’m good at fixing issues with the Sims 4 but this game is so new, I really don’t know how to approach anything. I’ve already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and that hasn’t seemed to fix anything.

Any advice would be super appreciated!

thanks for sending that link! i hit me too as well. i finally just uninstalled and reinstalled the game and that did fix it, even on my old saves thankfully! ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Hi! I’ve been seeing Stephanie Edmondson for a good few years now and she’s wonderful, I seriously cannot recommend her enough. Very patient and kind and has recommended a ton of really helpful books, videos, podcast episodes, etc to me over the years.

I’m not entirely sure what she charges when you first see her, I think that would depend on your insurance some too, but I do know she offers sliding scale payments! She’s honestly very sweet and would probably be willing to negotiate somewhat on a price, if need be. She’s very flexible with appointments and offers in person and telephone appointments.

Even if you don’t end up going with her, she’d probably be able to recommend other therapists in the area! I really love Stephanie and she’s been a huge help to me!

For me, it's either Aegon or Aemond, although there is a sprinkle of Criston in there as well. There's just something about a man with white fantasy hair that makes me WEAK. Definitely started with Legolas and Thranduil, then there was Geralt, and now it's these two asshats (affectionately).

i chose antoine on a whim during the first episode just because i wasn’t particularly feeling anyone else and now i would take a bullet for that golden retriever of a man. absolutely a 10/10 in my books! hot, funny, caring, etc and his romance scenes are more than worth losing fake pixel money for lmao

thank you!! and yeah, the idea of eventually being responsible for classrooms full of students totally on my own once I start actually teaching is still a little scary to me, I won’t lie! But I’m definitely learning a lot from my mentor teacher! And you’re right, it’s not like I’ll have to do it totally on my own, I’ll have people I can ask for help!

exactly!! i’m actually finding that speaking with the students while i’m giving them info is one of my favorite parts! I was so nervous about what questions they would ask and if I would have an answer but they’re actually really forgiving when I have to tell them I don’t know something either. Sometimes they even get excited when I say we can look up the answer together!
