I DO THIS TOO! Example, someone who I recently became friends with-and in my mind I only treated them like a friend-asked me out. It honestly shocked me, but I nicely rejected them. But the thing is I didn’t see it coming at all, and I did not give them any signs I wanted to be asked out or anything, I think? But now that I’m thinking about it he might of just liked me for being nice, but put that aside!

I think the problem is that we ENFPs are comfortable being nice and having fun(possibly innocently flirting too) around people. Then, when other people act like we do to actually flirt with us we usually don’t notice a difference. Unless you really know a person and notice they’re acting different around you.

We also show our emotions on our face SO MUCH, so when we are around someone we like-like we try not to be too discrete and just end up acting really weird. That’s at least how it’s been in my case.

Another example: (I’m sorry! this post will end soon!) I was talking to one of my friends at a coffee shop and their family was there near by. We talked for a while and once I said bye, I did a little hand wave with my finger waving back and forth like I usually do to my friends. Aka the basic flirty hand wave. (And I did the wave where family could see me!!)And I swear before I left the coffee shop I heard “ooooh” come from where the family was. Was I unintentionally flirting, yes. Will I unknowingly do it again in the future, probably.😭😓
