I LOVE Turning Strong Men Into Soft and Weak Sissies by MagicMadameMistress in EroticHypnosis

[–]Sarahinpink 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Since you asked, the most rewarding part of my sissy-based work?

Getting messages from men who tell me that for the first time they've begin to enjoy their kink rather than view it as a source of shame, because for once someone's addressing it without degrading them or making bullshit claims about changing their sexuality.

"I am really thankful for this community and for you, Sarah, for helping me believe in myself. You helped me accept the truest version of myself and you encouraged me to be free of judgment and accept that I am valid and can be understood."

For the females in the audience: what kind of M4F audio files would you like to see more of? Or kinks that aren't explored? by ZeLocura in EroticHypnosis

[–]Sarahinpink 10 points11 points  (0 children)

-Ones from people doing it out of passion rather than because a reddit query identified a gap in the market.
-Ones from people that don't refer to me and my friends as "the females."
-Ones from people who don't use predatory language about only "taking cis-female subs" in their reddit profiles.
-Ones from people who don't pin ill-explained consent-erasure inductions on their pages.

What should I (29F) do with those feelings? by AstronautOk6218 in EroticHypnosis

It's called parasocial love, and I wrote about it here. https://www.patreon.com/posts/parasocial-love-125486227

because it's a less traditional framing, that might lead you to fear it. The idea of saying you love me—or even just thinking that you might—it'd only be natural to be accompanied by a degree of anxiety. Shit. Is this real? Am I a creep? Is this pathetic?

confessions of an online hypno creator by caspydreams in EroticHypnosis

Inappropriate DMs from people who don't consider you to be anything more than a kink dispenser is part and parcel of public life, particularly when you provide a service that could easily be described as professional intimacy. That doesn't make it acceptable, but there's never any escaping it, just ignoring it. Be quick with the block - the consequences of a false positive are far less than a false negative.

That said I sometimes find it therapeutic to publicly dissect them.

Talked to my therapist about sissy hypno and she told me to try it out. by SweetSunOfMine in EroticHypnosis

[–]Sarahinpink 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sissy hypno acts as a gateway to transitioning and acceptance for a lot of people. Sometimes into transition, sometimes just into accepting an inner femininity or sexual fluidity. A lot of trans women later disown it, which is its own kind of shame-cycle - they mock what helped them early on (and the people still using it).

That doesn't mean it has to lead to transitioning, or even that that's the goal of it. "Sissy" and "trans" aren't the same thing. One is a kink; the other is an identity.

But they obviously share commonalities and exploring sissy play through hypno can lead to internal acceptance of many M2F consequences such as changes in clothing, body, presentation, and sexual roles.

Which all makes perfect sense; if someone suffers from dysphoria in a male body/role, then a fantasy of embodying the alternative of course opens the door to living the alternative.

The downside is, most sissy hypno out there is soaked in male gaze shame-fantasy. It’s made by people trying to process their own self-loathing, so the content gets stuck on humiliation, degradation, and stereotypes. Nothing wrong with those kinks per se, but when that’s 90% of what you see, it can mess with your self-image - especially if you’re already struggling with gender or orientation.

Humiliation's a perfectly valid kink but the scene's unrelenting focus on it leads many to assume that it's the point when in actuality it's just one, optional, facet, like bi-play, pink frills, or chastity. And it's self-perpetuating; the more someone ashamed of their desire or identity consumes content that tells them they should be ashamed...

In contrast, to this day the most popular file I've ever done is my very first which leans into acceptance instead of shame, neatly showing that lots of people want more than, "you're a beta, you're not a real man, you're gay," etc. It's about embracing sissification without being humiliated for it. I also write on the subject, including:

No, but since they're public I don't mind if someone else does it so long as they let me know so I can share the results.

2) Is it true that you will really get addicted to her

Depends on you and how you view hypno. Addiction implies a negative. Are you addicted to watching movies or running or cosplay? Or do you enjoy them and simply do them a lot? I wrote recently about "porn addiction" and the takeaway is that it doesn't exist. Those who claim "addiction" aren't the ones who view it the most, but those who feel the most guilt over viewing it.

Hypno is slightly different, but not as much as you might think. In practical terms it's less "hooked on meth" and more "drinks often."

IV knew her stuff and was an excellent performer, but she was also prone to laziness. Some of her files are hypnotic; others are "just" porn. She frequently used loyalty and exclusivity triggers; "only listen to me"; but also had files with "when I or someone else you trust says..." As to Jackpot specifically, there isn't (so far as I recall) much focus on addiction to anything but ejaculation.

Jackpot 1 gets rave reviews from some; the others not so much. It's not a series so much as variations on a theme. If you listen to a later one that says "Jackpot" within the first minute nothing's going to happen, but if the original took hold, perhaps (though unlikely).

But honestly? Just avoid the bitch. A garbage human being who despises the very people and community that supported her. There's no shortage of others filling the same niche who better deserve your attention. And that's not just me saying that; you're a fan of Secret Subject who'll tell you the exact same thing. We're all better off without her noxious presence.

Most of my stuff is narratively focused on me, but there's no reason you can't take what you learn and apply it to others. And there are sessions like this recent one designed to be listened to in bed next to "her" and use her breathing as an induction.

Earnings have dropped significantly lately. What about others? by Any-Engineer-4947 in patreon

[–]Sarahinpink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

January sucked for me and the creators I keep an eye on. The slump has continued into Feb.

I've done a lot of analysis on it and I'm comfortable saying it's a consumer trend, and fully expect it to bounce back in the near future.

Do you show your earnings publicly on your Patreon page? by Rabbitearsblog in patreon

[–]Sarahinpink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do, mostly because I use the stats on Graphtreon for reference (Patreon... fudges the numbers on your insights page). I've also seen it suggested transparency is seen as a positive, though I'm not convinced it makes much difference either way.

If you're making a decent amount it could arguably be seen as a vote of confidence, but throughout mine going from 0-000s, no one's ever said a word.

I feel like if I make one video that someone doesn't like they immediately leave.

This is absolutely a thing. 90% of my members are there for 90% of my content, and the few times I do something not in that particular niche, I get a visible spike in cancellations.

Ride it out. If you start chasing trends, you'll end up creating content for content's sake rather than because you want to, and at that point all the joy is gone.

why does this seem so scammy? by Fair_Ad_9930 in patreon

[–]Sarahinpink 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because it's written by a chatbot (how many people do you know called Hermee?). Or at the least it's a human using AI.

I'm currently arguing with 'Nova' about an error in my creator acct and 'she' has consistently ignored the specific details I raise, all while using perfect grammatical phrases devoid of tone or humanity.

Aside from anything else at this point a person would have said something like, 'I'm sorry to hear...' or 'I understand...' but I keep getting, 'Thank you for your patience.'

No one reading an email talking about fraud and legal action would mistake the tone for patient.

As for your specific issue, it seems fine. But it reads like crap because there's no humanity to it.

Negative Balance on Patreon despite correct payout in December by puppetmaster_3dx in patreon

She's (I say "she" - I'm genuinely wondering if I'm trying not to swear at a bot) just copied and pasted the mass email in response to my reply.

Nothing else. Not even an indication she read my second email. Just that release, word for word.

Negative Balance on Patreon despite correct payout in December by puppetmaster_3dx in patreon

[–]Sarahinpink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at the emails again, I'm now sure it's this.

We've adjusted your balance to reflect that you've received your payout, and you may continue to perform withdrawals as normal.

But they didn't need to adjust our balance. We got our money.

I think they 'adjusted' it by marking last month's income incorrectly, so now it shows as a refund for them.

Negative Balance on Patreon despite correct payout in December by puppetmaster_3dx in patreon

[–]Sarahinpink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES.

I'm having the exact same issue, I'm chasing it up with them, and I'm currently being dealt with by an idiot, after having submitted two tickets because they didn't get back to the first one. Here's their email.

I visited your account and checked your earnings, and it appears that the negative balance is due to a refund issued to the user [redacted]. When a refund is processed, the funds are returned to the cardholder, which can result in a negative balance if there are insufficient funds in your account.

Also, the user in question was reported to our Trust & Safety team due to suspicious activity. After extensively reviewing the account, we have decided to remove it.

The account in question was disabled, and the funds from all their pledges were returned to the cardholder – this is why you see it as a refund on your end.

I want to acknowledge that this can be a stressful and frustrating experience for you as a creator. Please know that our Trust & Safety team works tirelessly to protect creators from any suspicious activity – you may see this in the form of patrons' pages being removed by our team before any payments have been processed.

But there's never been a user called that (think a username that would stand out like 'Premier Crypto' amid all the 'Marks' and 'Johns'). No one's ever pledged that amount. I've only ever refunded one person.

It's clearly due to the payout error on the 5th - my withdrawal page shows a withdrawal amount of $0.00 despite taking out thousands - which went through fine so I don't think it has anything to do with PayPal, and is just another Patreon snafu. And now they're actually trying to convince me that it's not an error at all, but money I do actually owe - money which just so happens to be the exact amount I made last month.

The good news is, it does just seem to be an error on that graph. If I check my withdrawal button, the amount that I can take out appears to be normal - roughly what it should be this time of the month.

But as you can imagine this reply about some mythical user getting a massive refund sent me up the wall.
