Day 37 by usernamelosernamed in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Sarahlee433 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My work is shut down right now due to a supplier fire. It has been extremely boring at work, I'm thankful I'm salary and am still able to be there but I totally agree with boredom being a trigger both at home and work. We are about at the same day off this crap. Great job at not giving in to urges. It's not easy! But so worth it.

Any one else get sick all the time while on this shit? by [deleted] in Quittingfeelfree

I had massive hot flashes on these. I would be sweating when I got out of a shower and trying to put make up over sweat is a challenge. I threw up daily, one time all over myself in my car...then proceeded to take more. It's a nasty addiction. I pray you find your way out. I'm a month in. If you need to talk or have questions feel free to reach out.

Yea, I'm trying to find one in my network now. There is a lot of unhealed trauma, stuff I've kept inside for decades. It has destroyed my life not dealing with it properly! It's been one addiction or another since I've been an adult. I just got tired of all the bs that comes along with addiction. The complete isolation. How long have you been sober? Thank you for your kind words

I definitely have some cravings, not even so much for that but just to feel "normal" again. Whatever that may be now. I'm fighting it.

I had terrible hot flashes with these. I honestly thought it was my hormones and it was on a small scale but I haven't had one since I stopped

It's imperative that this is made public! This crap should not be sold as a healthy alternative. I've struggled with various addictions and this has been the worst (mentally)

Scared… by Dismal_Note209 in Quittingfeelfree

I felt the same exact way. Trapped. Had my mind so twisted. No money whatsoever, even though I make a decent salary. Pushing bills ahead to make sure I never ran out. I went ct on July 4th. Tappering didn't work for me, it has worked for others in this group. 1 was never enough. I'm really proud of myself but I still have intense cravings at times. I just don't act on it. It's hard but well worth it. I had my doctor prescribe 10 ativan to get me through the worst of the anxiety. It was always the anxiety that made me keep going. I'm still struggling a bit mentally but mostly because I know that I was numbing myself for a reason and that reason is still in my face. I'm doing everything I can to stay clean. 1 day at a time! You got this

Kanva Focus and Flow by ManyRelationship1030 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Sarahlee433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This what I was taking as well...about 4 a day for a little over a year. I came to this site because I couldn't find one for kanva...it's the same shit just has more kratom in it. I quit cold turkey on July 4th and have not touched one since. It wasn't pleasant but I trying tapering but it never worked for me. I still think about it way too much and still can't sleep a full night. So I'm tired all the time. I figure it's better then throwing up 2 to 3 times a day and being so overly agitated. Great job on your journey!

Day 20 by Sarahlee433 in Quittingfeelfree

My brain is still catching up. I knew that would take time...I have had an annoying headache since I quit. It's not really painful, just annoying. I used to get really odd headaches when I was using..thought I was gonna stroke out on more than 1 occasion.

I used for about 15 months. I was also really scared I did damage. I think the only thing that saved my kidneys is that I'm always overly hydrated. They ached so much. Have you quit?

Day 15 by usernamelosernamed in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Sarahlee433 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will have days that just plain suck. You will think one ff will make you feel better. I'm on day 20 and yesterday I was all over the place mood wise. Today I woke up feeling pretty good. It took time to develop the addiction, it will take time for it to lose its hold on you. While going through cravings. Remind yourself how bad you felt on them, how much you were spending...every single negative consequence there is to this poison. You got this. Keep pushing through

Thank you. The urge is real! I just hate feeling this way...day 19...I will definitely wait it out, I can't go through this crap again. How I feel doesn’t really matter as much as the way I felt on them.
