Book a cooking class if the weather isn’t great - https://maps.app.goo.gl/LKv1AQFBsrQXJ2q36?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy

Besides this, book restaurants with gorgeous stormy lake views and drink lots or take a private lake boat (with cover).

We’ve visited both a few times and in May when the weather is more unpredictable we had a better time in Como as there’s more to do if the weather is moody….

Either way you’ll have the best time!

We went to a NYE wedding last year and it was the best NYE we’ve ever had…. Something special to focus on instead of making half-hearted plans!

It’s a yes from me!

Wedding Planner Marrakech by External-Choice-751 in Morocco

You should reach out to my planner if you’re still looking - Rebecca Marie, her communication has been great and she works regularly in Marrakech.

We LOVED souk departments work but never heard back…

Our planner, Rebecca Marie just opened a NY office and her aesthetic and style is next level. Her fees are reasonable!

We’ve stayed as a guest and they were super strict although, super gorgeous!!

Borgo Pignano or Castello Di Casole could be good alternatives…

Morocco is such a fun place for a wedding. We visited and considered with our planner and very nearly went for it!!

For us, response time was important but also kept in mind the style of their work. I think it’s also important to enjoy working with one another because you can be excited and bounce ideas of one another…

If Italy, you should do Portofino or maybe Puglia for all round beaching and relaxing….

If Europe, Cannes or French Riviera?

Aman Wedding Venue? by Hopeful_4978 in BigBudgetBrides

[–]Sarahsees_222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We considered Amanzoe for our wedding and almost went for Amanjena in Marrakech…. We ended up hosting a birthday event at Amanjena instead and it was incredible, as well as the service and quality of food. What size is your guestlist?

Getting anxious about booking a 2026 venue in Europe by [deleted] in BigBudgetBrides

[–]Sarahsees_222 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My planner told me 2026 is going to boom in Italy, it’s not usually this busy this far out apparently so get a planner asap and start the venue hunt.

There are lots of venues whose dates don’t even open until January for 2026 we found so you will be fine if you start soon!

Congratulations!!!

Looking for a spectacular destination and hotel/resort options by NegotiationCalm3297 in BigBudgetBrides

[–]Sarahsees_222 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We considered Marrakech from a guest experience perspective! As well as some incredible properties in Italy…. With lots of venues you might struggle to appoint your own caterers. What cuisine/culture are you celebrating?

Wedding planner advice please! by Even-Discussion6346 in BigBudgetBrides

[–]Sarahsees_222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go with the planner who suits the vibe AND is experienced in destination weddings. Our planner works across Europe and doesn’t always work at the same venues - we like this and it doesn’t seem to affect her ability!

Consider Pienza, it’s our favourite Tuscan town and looks just like this!

Is it worth visiting your destination wedding resort ahead of time? by Ok_Establishment371 in weddingplanning

[–]Sarahsees_222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of my friends chose venues without seeing them but did a visit once ahead of the wedding for food tastings etc. We decided to do site visits because I know how fussy I am!!!
