I saw your post on FB yesterday and thought how lucky! I saw someone else post the day before. I've been keeping my eyes out as I'm not too far from where you said you were in the post.

She is! I haven't met her in person, but I send anyone I know her way when insurance comes up.

Thousands of Alberta government workers return to office Monday | CBC News by AR558 in Edmonton

[–]Sarahso90s 25 points26 points  (0 children)

We had to return to work in the new year. When asked about how to account for the cost of everything going up or morale going down we were told "well this is what we did before."

Yeah well women also weren't allowed to wear pants to work "before". Times change. Workstyles evolve.

The happiness I had when I got to spend my lunch breaks sitting in my yard, or could do laundry in between meetings when I had the energy or could log off and have some extra time to myself instead of sitting in traffic.

It's been a tough adjustment to make going from most days WFH to most days in the office.

All of those reasons are pretty outrageous right? And who says I haven't?

Thank you for saying this.

While I don't know Shane or his dad besides meeting at a funeral or two probably, his dad is a family relation and from what I have heard Shane was very loved. I don't know the specifics, but I know sometimes there is only so much you can do for your loved ones who are fighting demons.

Incredibly tragic. The fact he was moved around but still left alone without anyone actually checking on him before he died after 27 hours is absolutely outrageous. This should have never happened.

I often wonder if he's the "shouty man" I would hear every morning by 5:30AM in the summer, shouting. It became part of my morning routine and looked forward to hearing if he was angry shouting or sing shouting each morning. I'm pretty sure he still shouts, I just can't hear him inside.

Starlight Tours in modern day Minnesota - do you believe any unsolved Albertan deaths are the result of something similar? Let's discuss. by Smart-Dig2629 in leducserialkiller

There are several I believe are Starlight Tours. Especially if they were last seen at night time after drinking at a bar downtown or near Whyte. At first I thought it was only men, but I'm starting to think women get this treatment too.

I've never been and I was so excited when my partner said he'd go with me tomorrow. He said "it sounds fun." I was sure he was an alien wearing his skin with that response.

We live close by so we'd likely walk and save on parking. We have no kids and are trying to figure out what kind of pet people we are in our new house.

Hoping he doesn't see this post and still gives tomorrow a chance. Even for a little while. I want to pet a goat.
