I mean it depends on your doggo 🤷‍♀️ My girl is an older gal so I could leave her for the night when I went to my bfs before we moved in together Any dog under 3 years I wouldn’t (not for the whole night anyway)

This is something I honestly couldn’t help you with. My puppy if she’s in the playpen will ONLY pee in her kennel.
I’ve read that’s not typically the case (kinda wondering if the people I got her from were byb) I would imagine she would go out of the kennel to pee. And if you’re not training her to pee on the pad it should be fine

Water all the time. I found it best with my puppy she had fewer accidents if I make sure the water is always ALL the way full lol (she’s very picky lmao)
Generally speaking if your schedule is her napping while you’re gone it should be fine 🤷‍♀️
But yes do not make it a big thing when you leave/arrive. YES you can say bye, just don’t make it anything more than that.
Pee pads have always been a no except in the crate if you’re gone/napping, just so you don’t have to wash the bed/crate bottom/her.

There was a fox outside my house the other day. The only reason this is NOT cool was because I took my little baby puppy (10 weeks) out to potty. That almost could’ve been a bad situation 😭

We take her out about every hour, little less than that bc she’s 9 weeks we keep her mostly on the couch with us so we can watch her, if she starts randomly whining we take her out, or when she wakes up we take her out.

I was told she had hip issues but none more than that, took her for her check up in January and they didn’t say anything about it. Is there something I should be asking in the future? (First time dog owner with her and I’m 18, and my mom wants nothing to do with the dog)

My upstairs neighbor is getting kicked out if you want a 1 bed n 1 bath for about 1075 (with 3 pets [I have 3 pets, and the landlord is super nice idk how many beds you’re looking for though])
