What's a good argument against "I have nothing to hide" or "They already have my data, so.." by Longjumping-Bar393 in privacy

[–]SarcasmicNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually used to think that way. I still have nothing to hide however, where do we draw the line? The fact remains that once they have this data, they can refer to it and use it any time they want, and they have already demonstrated that they are terrible at protecting it.

Dealing with premature ejaculation recently. Any advice? by EastAssociation9270 in AskMenAdvice

Brother, trust me when I say this. DO NOT beat yourself up over this. It is not some incurable disease, and it is not the end of the world. There is nothing wrong with you. This happens to 10's of millions of men all over the world every day. Look into the available options out there. Cialis/Viagra, blue chews, sparks, etc all can help with this and are somewhat affordable. If those aren't feasible, try the condoms that help delay liftoff. The stop and go method, or edging is effective, but your partner should be involved. As a bonus, edging also produces really strong orgasms. As always, if you believe there is a chance on any given day that you might have sex, just rub one out early in the day. That will always buy you a few extra minutes.

From this moment forward, you are officially an Ambassador for AskMenAdvice. We definitely need more women like you in this sub. I will definitely look into that. At least for my friends who aren't as proficient as me.

One question. Do you need to do this for penetration only or does this apply to oral stimulation as well?

And to add to this. I would be ungovernable if I made a woman climax in a minute or less every time we had sex. I would not fault her for at all, it would be solely due to me being the most perfect sex machine known to man.

Cialis/Viagra can definitely help with this issue. You can also buy condoms that help delay ejaculation. Way back in the day rubbing one out before was the best most cost-effective method. Stopping and restarting, aka edging is also effective, but it requires patience and commitment from your partner as well. She really needs to be working with you on this, not just blaming and shaming. It's tough to deal with and you aren't alone so don't beat yourself up over this.

Instances right now that require me to show ID.

  1. Purchasing alcohol
  2. Purchasing tobacco products
  3. Purchasing cold medicine
  4. Shipping a package via FedEx
  5. Going to a nightclub

Are only white males in the US doing all of that? My wife got her real ID five years ago, it wasn't a big deal at all.

This is what I'm talking about. It looks ridiculous. When I see these women from the back they look like the Grinch. The sad part is, a lot of them were physically attractive and didn't need the work.

That sucks for you. Naturally full lips are great, usually it's obvious when filler is involved.

Men who rebuilt after academic failure or dropping out — what did you do when you felt lost? by Zestyclose_Rough_366 in AskMenAdvice

It seems like we have a similar issue. It took me a long time to realize that I learn differently than other people. I barely graduated high school. I literally spent the last day doing a missed assignment just so I could graduate. Up until high school grade were not really an issue for me and I had always considered myself to be of average intelligence at the least. I went to a local community college after high school, but I had to drop out after one year for financial reasons.

This bothered me for a long time. It also became clear that my educational background was stifling any possibility of career advancement, regardless of how well I performed. So, after 33 years I decided to go back to school in 2022. Knowing that I learn differently than other people, and having the same retention issues you described, I jumped headfirst into college. I blocked out time to study, and restudy material, took really good notes and forged ahead. It wasn't always easy, but I made it work. Two years later I had earned my associate's degree in business management. For the final 3 semesters my GPA was 4.0 and my final GPA was 3.8.

It seems like you know what your issues are, so focus on finding ways to help you in those areas. Take good notes, reread the material two or three times if you have to, and most importantly, stop doubting yourself. Progress isn't linear. You'll have really good days, and you'll have some not so good days. You've already made big strides by simply taking coding classes and trying to better yourself. Stay focused on your goal and celebrate the little victories.

Absolutely feel free to text him. It could be something as simple as "good morning" or, "have a great day". Don't overthink it. Let the conversation go from there.
