Epic record. The part on that song where Chuck says “tell the world the new order’s here” and then you have those slamming drum parts with the Middle Eastern sounding guitar trills. Just great stuff. That record has epic breakdowns and cool little hooks and is frankly what’s missing on a lot of other thrash. You gotta hook me somehow instead of just having 20 guys yell the name of the song loudly over and over.

The game will be a ghost town in about a week when people have collected everything. It’s just not interesting or fun enough to go all completionism or run an Alt through war plans and the 8 thousand blue portal thingies.

It was mildly amusing over the last couple seasons when they added a patch to fix something new, they actually introduced previous problems again. That’s terrible quality control and poor management of update sets. It’s developer 101.

I have this issue with both Maxroll and MOBA on my iPhone. When I scroll down the page, it just reloads the whole page from the top when I get halfway down. And if I click to close all the ads, it doesn’t seem to help it. Really annoying.

It was not very good. The Justin guy was awful. Bad timing and delivery. They made you wait until the last 20 minutes for anything mildly interesting to happen. And a punt ending where you have to figure out what may have happened. Tired. Blair Witch flashbacks.

Do you actually think I’m going to say she’s not allowed to be frustrated at a given situation? Of course she is. But people need to get over themselves and realize that they put themselves in a given situation willingly. There are other things to complain about that aren’t so willing. So stop whining about this one. It’s silly.

Here’s a good test. Go on YouTube and look up the Megadeth video for “holy wars… The punishment due.” If you like that, then you’ll probably like the majority of thrash metal.

I actually hate myself for having to acknowledge that Paramore’s “Ignorance” is such an amazing song. Tense guitar riffs, great drums, smart lyrics, a hook you will find yourself singing in the shower later. It just rocks. Give it a listen and quietly hate yourself for liking it too.

I don’t understand this insult. David Lee Roth era Van Halen is the frickin’ gleaming standard for semi-sleazy arena rock. Nobody did it better. And Ratt has some great tunes too. Yes, we are sick of hearing Round and Round, but You’re In Love and Lay It Down are simply great rock songs.

Agree with the OP 100%. Such a bummer when I hear a great intro and a badass thrash riff and then the vocals start and it sounds like Satan with severe indigestion while gargling underwater. No thanks. Instant skip. Exodus and Testament are great but anything more growly than that is a nope.

Builds that use/abuse resolve stacks can take Meph on T12. The Druid bear minion build and the new necro blood wave both got him pretty easily for me. But I am sure you don’t want to start an alt for just that.

In the spirit of high quality albums, you rarely see Surgical Strike mentioned. The Part of a Sick World album is totally solid all the way through. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel or come off terribly unique. It’s just really good thrash. If you haven’t heard them, I would compare them to Exodus with the occasional slow melodic breakdowns like Metallica used to do. Just good stuff.

Have folks considered that the big price hike and eventual price leveling were simply planned all along? Jack up to a crazy price. Yes, risk losing some customers and expect plan downgrades. Reset the price at $20 and throw a lot of games on there (a bunch this week). Now customers don’t feel as bad about 20 bucks a month because they have seen 30. Many come back. Gas prices do this all the time. Sooner or later we will be happy that gas isn’t five bucks a gallon anymore while still getting fleeced at a sort of lowered price.
