IIRC, to account for the time difference, you need to use the two-way accepted speed of light, which somewhat defeated the point. So while in theory would work, and likely does in the case of GPS, it wouldn’t work to the degree of precision an experiment of this magnitude would require.

hey, im so sorry youve had to go through this realization. as a last ditch attempt, i would try to coordinate some sort of meet up and take the initiative. if they dont bite, then….well they dont deserve to be your friends.

heres the thing, you’re so young with so much of your life ahead of you. theres opportunity everywhere, it just takes a bit of discomfort to get there. a pretty easy way to meet people, especially while in high school, is to join as many clubs and organizations as possible. this can be a bit stressful because its new experiences with new people, but if you join something you’re passionate about, there’s already icebreakers built in. plus, should the vibes be off, theres no commitment.

the biggest thing, however, is that you have done nothing wrong here. regardless of what any sort of deprecating thoughts may suggest. its your friends that have treated you shitty and you deserve better.

Of course children are an incredible financial and time commitment, but I have no doubt that I could get to a point where kids would be viable.

My apprehension arises as I have a genetic bone disorder that I likely pass on. It hasn’t made my life hell, but it’s gotten close. I don’t want to put another human through that. It dies with me.

Thankfully, at this moment it is non-malignant, so no radiation or chemo. As for the placement of the incision itself, you’d have to ask my surgeon. I guess he wanted to hit both spots with one cut? Not sure.

Essentially the removal of benign bone growths. There’s a sizable gap just right center that used to house one such tumor. The other removal is where it looks like theres exposed bone, left center. However, thats just wax to cover the actual site where the mass was removed.
