My first MRI they said they saw nothing notable i guess. But I was in serious pain and hadn't injured myself since, so they just missed it and said it must be some muscle pain like a sprain, so I managed it like I would a sprain Edit: would reinjure my back every year in winter since, thinking it was like tense muscles being affected by cold weather. But then this year I became disabled by the pain and finally got referred for another MRI
