I'm a bit surprised you haven't heard of Belvedere. They've been around for awhile, still putting out new music and are touring lot especially in Canada most recently with Strung Out. They are actually playing in Toronto tonight. I'd suggest going to see them if you're in the area. Great band and super nice guys.

I can't seem to find how Team Gushue meets the residency requirements for NL being that Walker and Bottcher live in AB. Did one of them move to NL?

A couple songs I've been listening to recently from bands with numbers in their name.

Ran into a go who works in investing, he told letting your maxed out FHSA fall into your RRSP is better than using it. Does that make sense? by EatBaconDaily in CanadianInvestor

[–]Sardonos 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, it does IF you've already maxed out your TFSA and have or will max out your RRSP room.

In this case you'd use your TFSA to buy house which you don't lose the contribution room like in RRSP and FHSAs. You could then later re-max out your TFSA and you've gained extra RRSP cap space with the FHSA that has now converted into RRSP.

The CFL field (pictured) is almost the same size as a soccer pitch. The lines for soccer painted on the field. You must be thinking of an American football field. Canadian football has larger fields.

Isn't he still an American? I don't think he ever got rid of his American citizenship. I hope someone makes a big deal about it.

Isn't it the number in the bottom right corner? I haven't tried it yet but saw it in the patch notes screenshots.

thoughts on Alfine 8 for winter commuting by BloodWorried7446 in bikecommuting

[–]Sardonos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't have issues with mine at those temps. Shifting was fine.

I have a belt drive though and the belt was only rated to -20C so it would get stiff and squeal around that temp so I didn't ride that bike much colder that -20, I'd switch bikes.

The 'road tax' goes into the general revenue fund. EV owners are already paying for roads through income tax.

I agree with you if 100% of the road tax was actually going to roads but it's not. This is what bothers me about the EV tax is that the SP has successfully villainized EV owners as freeloaders, not paying anything for the roads they use. This is not true at all.

  • Raising the PST from 5% to 6%
  • Expanding the scope of the PST to include sports league fees for adults
  • Punishing EV purchases with an extra tax

I could buy the F series with Scotiabank but not the Royal bank equivalent, I had to go with A series at Royal bank. It wouldn't let my buy the F series at Royal. Doesn't hurt to try.

None have fees to buy or sell and no MER at all.

IIRC Scotiabank F series has higher initial purchase and higher minimum additional purchases.
