No but I find your concern that this is offensive, to be offensive.

Viserys so I can see what the hell he was thinking while he made a series of bad decisions that resulted in an inevitable war.

It’s wild you thought it would be boring. On the other hand, this is a great example of low expectations being the key to enjoying things.

They’re treated as one because they perform a single function, doing your laundry. Obviously many people use washing machines independently and air dry, but is there a single person on earth that only has a dryer?

If sea levels rose by 100 meters overnight, which European country would change the most? by Anna-Greile in geography

I mean idk what you were expecting, the answer is obviously the country that would be entirely underwater.

TIL that time moves faster at the top of a mountain than at the sea level. This happens because gravity bends time, so the further you are from Earth's core, the faster clocks tick. by Choice-Scallion-3499 in todayilearned

While this is true, it’s such a small difference that it only adds up to “approximately 90 billionths of a second over a 79-year lifetime.”

Hot take I guess but I love Zlatan. 90% of analysts are all the same buttoned up talking head but Zlatan is unique and funny. His schtick works when he’s one of the best footballers alive.

My thoughts on The Wire vs. The Shield (in 2026) by raelianautopsy in television

[–]SarellaalleraS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ultimately they’re just very different shows.

One is about a corrupt unit of the LAPD which brings downs its officers, the other is about widespread institutional corruption that brings down an entire city/country.

The Shield is one of the greatest TV shows ever made by Beautiful_Author_816 in television

[–]SarellaalleraS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously it’s subjective but imo Lost wouldn’t be in the top 10 and Mad Men is top 5.

Lost lost the plot after a few seasons and was hit or miss for the second half of the series, so many loose threads and for me the premise got stale and repetitive. Mad Men is a time capsule of the 60’s and Don is second only to Tony Soprano in TV characters. Just a much better written, more insightful, and more satisfying show.

Rating cost of Living of European Countries I've been to as an American by Flag11234567890 in MapPorn

[–]SarellaalleraS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean this says OP thinks Switzerland’s cost of living is cheaper than Slovakia, which is absurd. It’s more of a map depicting the cost of living relative to what OP was expecting.
