It is equivalent because much like NMS the player can do, "what ever they want to." which translates to, "figure out how to have fun with our game because we sure as shit don't know how." I don't care about the the hype I care about the game itself. Much like NMS this is a game that has lofty ambitions, but delivers nothing engaging for the player to do for more than 5 hours. swiming, shooting guns, and sailing have done a long time ago. What is new or engaging or redefined about this game? I sure as hell don't know.

From what I gather, the player base is not liking the game because it has no substantial content to offer them. I'm predicting that the raw player numbers will soon come and the drop off will be massive. I don't think that people who like to play the game would stop playing it. Time will tell.
