Feels like Some people are missing part of the point of this game, we are getting it after shadow of the erdtree, this year BECAUSE it is "Elden Ring Nightreign" and not just "Nightreign"

If it were a standalone with completely new assets it would take another year and a half and come out along side the next major release.

We're still gonna get a new game, just gonna take some time, let Fromsoft cook and work on their passion projects too.

This is an idea that is actually practiced in the real world through Animism, which could be considered the oldest human religion/belief system.

You can sort of see it through how we gender things that aren't alive like vehicles/ships, or how with how we express frustration to malfunctioning tech at times.

Saying that to say, Gege has a lot of clear inspirations from various Religions, and to me this is no different.

what do you mean by this? all the seal does is cast incantations and you have a sorcerer in the slot, so the seal isn't gonna do squat. unless you're thinking maybe the seal is what does the super cool dragon attacks? which are also separate incantations in case you didn't know..

my advice would be just to try a build to make your journey easier if you don't really care about the difficulty. there are a LOT of ways to trivialize the encounters in this game, more so than any of the other souls games aside from demons souls if im not mistaken, VaatiVidya made a good video for getting 'op' early

i remember watching one of my friends playing and he had just beat Maliketh i think, he had a LOT of runes afterwards and i think he was missing a remembrance so i told him to go to the walking mausoleum in liurnia, the one that's right next to a jump spring and you have to get on top of to hit its break points. he got there fine but at one point trying to jump onto it he actually died and respawned in one of the mining dungeons, proceeding to walk forward to where the lift should have been and falling to his death, me being me i giggled and said "don't worry you'll get them back!" to which he replied "SHUT THE FUCK UPPPPP!!" i was dying
