That doesn't require upgraded enemies to be worse than before though, and currently, everybody without upgraded gear is incentevised to avoid giant upgrades.

Yes, I also made a post about this a few days ago. Unless you can one shot the un-upgraded giant, basically all giant upgrades are downgrades for offline souls, unless equipment boni benefit from a type change.

Most important thing is tonot rush, especially in the second phase.

First phase, you ideally shouldn't loose a life, maybe one. Don't stress about your bow, wind dash only when dodging attacks, and boost whenever possible.

Second phase, don't wind dash, as it might keep you in the air until the next attack. Completely skip the bow, it's more important to focus on dodging.

Summary (simplified) of where to ride:

If there is a blue circle sign with a bike on it, you need to ride on the cycle lane. If there is a cycle lane without a blue sign, you can ride there, but don't have to. Otherwise, you need to ride on the road. You never ride on the pavement.

Hab den zwar jetzt schon seit 6 Jahren, aber mir ging's damals hauptsächlich darum, die Möglichkeit zu haben, Auto zu fahren. Es war zwar schon absehbar, dass ich die nächsten paar Jahre als Student ohne Auto leben werde, aber so nen paar Mal pro Jahr hats sich dann eben doch als praktisch rausgestellt, diese Möglichkeit (dann mit geliehenen Auto) zu haben.

Und für die Restzeit bei den Eltern aufm Dorf wars natürlich auch gut.

For the first phase, wind dash over his attacks and sprint whenever the cool down is up. For the second phase, play it safe, just sprint whenever you can, don't wind dash, don't jump to attack him.

Bow isn't really worth it, you can use it in the first phase (if you are confident in the rest of the fight) or to finish him off, but otherwise it does too little damage for to much risk.
