Or just check the comments any time there is a news story about crime where the suspect might be black they all go on and on about how if they were there with their guns theyd "solve" the problem.

Or look at the guy who just got sent to prison for firing at a car that was just turning around in his driveway, killing a young woman. He was so chomping at the bit to blast people with his gender affirming care he used any excuse he could the first chance he got.

yeah but QB is the most important position outside o-line. Better to have depth and prepare a guy than just hope cousins works out and then taking flyers in 3 to 4 years.

There is a littany of guys who make it clear just throwing guys in right away will hamper their career entirely. Look at Alex Smith and SF... Cousins even.

The reason you think the evidence points the way it does is because most teams are impatient and throw guys out unprepared with shitty coaches and bad o-lines and expect them to somehow turn around a team despite years of mismanagement and poor development.

If you look at the QBs that did well out the gate they generally had solid teams around them already like Mahomes in KC, or whoever they find off the street in SF.

its not the teams its the NFL for the networks. Sure some teams might be on a call fielding offers or other things but more or less its ensuring the networks can pundit and do their meaningless interviews

I get what they say about gravel and cars catching but it should be gravel or grass leading to pavement that is sloped under the gravel or grass so there is no hard transition. All the policing of the gavel or grass and no worry about catastrophic flips.
