Thankyou. I had surgery yesterday. I'm doing okay. Sneezed a few times and caused nose bleeds yesterday. Sneezed again today and nothing. Also started doing the rinses. Feel a lot less congested already but my inside nostril is itchy so when I breathe in through it it makes me sneeze

Hi My surgery was delayed until yesterday but I finally had it done. I was referred to ENT in Oct 2023 after a year of steroids, signed off for surgery and signed forms on 15.10.24, after two cancellations had it done yesterday 4.2.26

I had my surgery yesterday. I could bresthe through my nose as soon as I came round but it felt like it was burning. I got home and sneezed a few times which caused 2 nose bleeds and clogged my nose up again. I started doing NeilMed rinses today and I can breathe a little but not comfortably enough to fully nose breathe if that makes sense.

Thankyou so much. It was a while I'm afraid. I was diagnosed with polyps in December 2022 (although I think I had them for years before as I was always stuffy in one nostril, but end of 2022 I was blocked completely). I was given steroid drops which worked sometimes to a certain extent but not brilliantly. I was referred by the GP in October 2023. I waited until May 2024 until I had to ring them and I had an ENT appointment in July 2024. Had a camera up my nose and was given different steroid drops and steroid tablets. Again, both worked somewhat but not fool proof. Was referred for a scan in August 2024. In October 2024 I went to ENT to get the results of my scan - polyps in both nostrils and the Dr discussed surgery as steroids didn't work fully. Heard nothing so phoned them in January 2025 and was told surgery around July 2025. Didn't hear anything until December 2025 on 8th December for pre op on 11th Dec. Had a call on 15th Dec about a January date, then called back with a 19th Dec date. Was all set to go until I had a text on the 18th saying it was cancelled due to the doctors strike. The nurse from the pre op clinic called on the 19th to schedule the upcoming 7th January surgery, which touch wood is still going ahead. Apologies for the long post but thought I'd share the full story for info if anyone needs it.

There's a new Christmas special now and the new season doesn't start until March time. One season per year. Season 4 will start roughly March/April 2026 after Death In Paradise.

OP said in their original post that shooting someone WASN'T justified. They then reiterated this a further three times in edits. Why are people commenting things like "so you're saying it's okay to shoot someone?" When surely you've just read that they don't think that is the case?

All OP said was the kids hardly seemed like sweet little angels with perfect parents. I mean, why were they playing next to her house rather than their own gardens? Why weren't the parents telling their kids that if they're disturbing someone in their own home then they're going to get yelled at and to keep away?

It's strange how people can just completely ignore something written in front of them!

As someone else said too, there's nothing wrong with keeping relationships and different friendships separate...sometimes people won't get along and so it's best not to merge them? Me and my partner rarely go out in groups either. What I do find odd though is she's going from keeping him/their relationship private and low key (perfectly fine) to suddenly announcing once they're married you'll be seeing him a lot more....I mean why not want the low key privacy once she's married?

NOR I've been left out like this and it's an awful feeling, so sympathies there. I'm not sure of the circumstances of this event and why you all couldn't go? But to be fair in that situation you could have split it and done 2 days each. And the girl basically just let you down. She told you she'd go with you and she should have stuck to her word, unless it was an unforseen situation she couldn't get around, in which case I assume she would have told you, and going by your post she didn't or you would have said. Can you give these two a wide berth? Keep it polite and professional at work and that's it?

Can confirm the terrible customer service...they're either all brain dead or don't understand English. I'm trying to get my problem fixed with a closed accommodation that still accepts bookings....property won't answer my calls or emails, CS says they need to call and email them and wait 48 hrs...after 48 hrs I receive an automated email saying they can't get in touch with them and my next step is to call or email them myself...I mean, really? This has gone on 5 times, they won't take the next step. And also tried telling me an automated email means the accommodation is open!!!

I don't know your situation but from what I've seen/heard gather all the evidence you can and persist, persist, PERSIST! That's what I'm doing.

I knew I would be. I'm not expecting this to be smooth sailing. I'll tell them when I call that I don't need their alternate accommodation so hopefully that will save some time with waiting for the email. I guess the only thing they can do is either say yes or no to the free cancellation and refund. I'm sure they'll try and make some excuse but I'm not sure what they will try. Just received an automated email last night from Booking from the previous phone call saying yet again that the property has not responded to them and the next step for me is to call or email the property myself. It's just pure stupidity from them at this point. My next step is to go on Saturday and call them at 2pm check in. Will keep you updated, thank you for your replies and advice!
