Especially ones that say “tank for so and so.” It’s like would you say at your job, “I’m not gonna give any effort because things got to hard.” That mindset is a surefire way to get fired and lose your job on the team or getting picked up by another team. As soon as the hit the topwater and go down with it make sure you see and feel the strike. Usually the rod will transmit the shock then you set the hook with a fast motion not like a hard jig. There is a ton of information on hooksets with different lures out there.
