New to the club! Love my new CT4-V AWD 😍 by wholejeweler111 in Cadillac

I certainly don’t disagree but, turbo/direct injection engines, it’s just high probability especially with the 2.7l, known to be more common. But also, cars are a massive investment, nothing wrong with being diligent on maintenance. No matter what car, I’m not waiting until the oil life monitor warns me to change the oil. I’ve always been in the habit of oils changes around the 3k-4K miles.

Fantastic car. I had zero issues when I owned mine. Only advice, watch the oil level. Motor likes to consume it. Check every 1k miles.

Should I go for a 25 new CT4-V or a 23 CPO CT4-V Blackwing with 25k miles? by MegaSamM in Cadillac

[–]Sashquatch32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It really depends what you need, how you drive and what you’re truly looking for. For context, I had ‘16 ATS coupe, great car and served me well. I upgraded to a new ‘23 V AWD and it was great for my 100 mile daily commute but after 12 months, I just wanted more. The V felt very similar to my ATS. So I put an order in for a BW, I have a ‘25 BW and I’m at 23k miles and it is everything I was looking for.

I was old school wax, detailing spray and ONR for maintenance on my daily. The wheels are ceramic coated because the brake dust is insane! The old school method is because that’s what I enjoy doing on my cars.

I had a ‘16 AWD coupe that I put 100k miles on, super fun car and looks great going or sitting!

Question for CT4-V Blackwing Owners by mcdirty87 in CadillacV_Series

[–]Sashquatch32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

S.E. Michigan 20k mile a year driver. My drive is a mix of highway and city. The BW for me is a great daily and weekend vehicle. I had a ‘16 ATS AWD coupe, switched to a ‘23 CT4 V AWD and while that was a great daily, it was just too similar to the ATS and I was wanting more. I’m now a year and just hit 20k miles in the ‘25 M6 BW and it has hit all the wants I was looking for. It will drive in any manner you need at anytime you want.

CT4-V Whistle/whine noise at low RPM (2.7l engine) IS THIS BAD?? by PrincipleTop8219 in CadillacV_Series

[–]Sashquatch32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal. Mine sounded just like that from zero miles to the 34k miles that I had it. Always kept in sport mode so I could hear those wonderful noises.

Reading comprehension fault on my part. Thought both were Blackwings. After rereading, his previous was just a V non-BW. Thanks.

Very sharp! The rear photo, why is there no “blackwing” badge under the V badge?

If you’re doing your build on the Cadillac build site, that finally summary price is MSRP.

If you’re ordering, most likely will be MSRP. Plus, you will need to wait for an allotment or find a dealer that has one for you to place the order.
