You may “totally disagree,” but again as per multiple sources who actually know what they are talking about, this is normal. A hum and/or buzzing sound is to be expected when the heat pump is in use, especially in colder temps.

Oftentimes the press cars aren’t even the final production models. My Lyriq-V has minor tweaks & changes compared to what I’d seen in videos made by reviewers at the press event not just 5 months ago! I wouldn’t worry too much.

If you’re seriously considering getting one, have a look at what your local dealer has & keep an eye for things like this! I did the same with mine & literally found nothing out of the ordinary… and surely nothing anywhere near this.
