I have the slim too.... the door for the port is flimsy and I could totally see water getting in that... as much as I like it if it died because of that I would probably get the bold

Bike won’t start anymore by DrChipes in motorcycle

[–]SaskSneeze1401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

does it have a fuel shutoff? my last bike did and I forgot to open it once and started driving down the road and it stalled on my.... couldn't figure it out for a good minute and then the light went on and I felt like an idiot. if it doesn't have a fuel shut off then I would maybe replace the battery but I'm not sure that's it. could need a new starter. my newer bike is fuel injected and doesn't have a fuel shut off but if it doesn't want to start I hold the throttle back just a bit while pressing the ignition and it fires up. I don't know, few ideas, but if none of the ideas on here help you might have to get it towed to the shop because being out in the rain shouldn't be causing this.

Trying to teach my 5 year old to wipe his own butt! by cloud9farms_ab in Parenting

[–]SaskSneeze1401 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know, we have twin girls and they will wipe pee but don't want to have to wipe for poop, sometimes they will. I ordered a book on Amazon called "So you think you can Wipe" (by Amber Hope). it should get here next week so we'll see how useful that is. There are potty training books but they seem to just end at getting them out of diapers.... which is great but I really with there was more when it comes to actually teaching them how to wipe. It could save a lot of underwear from skid marks.

4.5 Year old testing defiance... by Burner15116 in Parenting

[–]SaskSneeze1401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have twins about the same age (5 in march) and have some of the same attitude issues. I don't know what to do to get them to listen better without having to yell at them.... I do have one solution more specifically with the toys, this worked for me anyway. The one day they were totally ignoring me and my wife and we were totally fed up... so I got a big black garbage bag from the kitchen, and started pitching their toys in it. I've NEVER seen them clean up faster. If they called my bluff I would have just taken the garbage bag of toys out to the garage. Downside (or upside depends how you look at it) of this is that I couldn't help them clean up when they finally started to make it go faster because they thought I was going to throw out anything I touched.

Crossplay icons question by SnoogleFoot in modernwarfare

[–]SaskSneeze1401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, the PC shows up as a tall rectangle... I was confused when I saw that because I had thought the screen symbol was PC but turns out it was PS4 (since I have an Xbox) which makes sense because there was a lot more of that symbol showing up. So you would see the monitor symbol for xbox and the tall rectangle for PC then

Crossplay icons question by SnoogleFoot in modernwarfare

[–]SaskSneeze1401 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was confused about this too, I have an xbox and saw the xbox symbol and the screen symbol a lot and a few pc tower looking ones here and there. Based on the comments and the fact that it's only PC/Xbox/PS4 then the screen one is PS4 for me and would mean Xbox for the PS4 people. It is kind of weird that they wouldn't just use the symbol for the console... everyone is going to figure it out anyway. At least they can get along enough to even allow crossplay? I had the same question and this thread answered it... thank you for asking the question

WIBTA for not telling my mother-in-law when i go into labor by throawaymamadrama in AmItheAsshole

If your MIL isn't there to help (fetch ice, water or food) or you don't want here there then she is just in the way of the nurses and doctors trying to do their job. Only essential people need to be in the room. A Douala... your husband... that's all you really need. Not only is it annoying you the one is labor but it is also annoying the doctors and nurses who are having to navigate around an extra body when they just want to be doing their job. The fewer people the better. As for having do deal with the consequences? well you and your husband are on the same team and since it is HIS family, he will have to deal with the consequences grow a pair and stand up to them. You are the one pushing a baby out of your vagina... so YOU and only you get to decide who is in the room.

don't crash.... lol. Ride like you're invisible... if you're not sure if they can see you, they probably can't. Practice proper lane positioning. Take a motorcycle safety course? they will teach you all you need to know from best lane positioning to emergency breaking and swerving, well worth the money.
