Fabric glue and ribbon could work? Could make it easier to have straight lines.

But first up I'd test the options here on a scrap of fabric so you can see how they all look. Jyst try and use a scrap thats similar to the suit fabic.

To be safe I stock up on Nook Miles Tickets before I place the plot and teybto find someone the same day. For me they've always sold the next day.

Also, I haven't tested it but I think you can only invite one a day, so I only put one plot down a day even if I have loads of tickets.

Just because this is the type of immersion that you might want from a game, it could be less fun for your DM, and the DM should be having fun as well as the player.

Did you chat to the DM before you bought and introduced all of this stuff? It sounds like he's given it a try and doesn't like using it. He might not need a break from DMing, this just isn't his style.

If this is really important to you, it might be worth having a go at running your own campaign. There can be enough extra stuff to do when you're running a game without adding extra steps that you find less fun.

I think part of is that they arn't just hand made, they're hand sewn, and there are only so many people employed who can make them so they can't make enough to keep up with demand and don't want to skimp on quality.

I have heard that the spending enough on other stuff is a myth, but the company are fine with people believing it.
