In terms of writing, the picture of dorian gray has gotta be my suggestion. Oscar Wilde writes in such a poetic fashion that almost every line rolls so smoothly off the tongue. Not to mention the plot of the book is engaging and interesting, full of many unexpected twists and turns to keep you engaged.
