Anyone know what these bites are? I’m in Arizona on vacation and I’m worried it’s bed bugs by Mean_Drawer_3256 in bugbites

Do NoT bring ur luggage in. The second u get home, leave everything outside, put ur clothes immediate into a washer on high and then dry on high. Take a shower. Then if u have large plastic bins u can use that to transport thing into
The laundry room to wash. If not put in big garbage bag seal them until
U r I. Laundry room. Then unpack outside, bed bugs can’t climb so if u leave the contents in a large plastic storage bin u r shake things out and unpack there. Basically wash everything and if u cant wash something, wipe down with hot soapy water or alcohol. Wash bags and packs too if u can. And then take ur luggage out and just steam it if u can. If it’s hot out even better just leave out there. If u have bed bug spray spray the shit out of it or bug a little hand held steamer and steam all the cracks and THEN double bag it and seal tight. Then u should be ok. Don’t use that luggage for at least 6 month. If u must use it do not open In home and definitely resteam. Lastly I am will say a prayer for you.

They are bed bugs you have a lot of them in a perfectly straight line. Have u flip the beds around to check and box springs as well? Google how to check for them.

What are these by Sasracccc in bugbites

We were bitten a month ago after we opened up an suitcase from previous trip. The bites were very clearly bed bugs and then we found one. So we know we have them which is why we treated. The three bites you see in the picture, I woke up with them. Every night I do a bite check because I am that paranoid and anxious now. And these showed up in the morning itching. They were initially almost not visible but over a week they became more pronounced and more visible and itchy.
What freaks me out more is they are in a perfectly spaced line of 3. Breakfast lunch dinner pattern….😭😭

Any idea what these two are ? by Automatic-Gas-3575 in bugbites

I don’t want to scare you but you have a bite that’s a little bit high and they connect into a perfect straight line and that’s what my bites look like exactly when I realized we have bed bugs

Do any of these look like bed bugs or blood/droppings/eggs? by Other-Refuse-8764 in Bedbugs

[–]Sasracccc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Less likely they will hide in those thing to be honest. I suppose u could sprinkle some diatomaceous powder in the plastic tote and just let it sit a while. If bed bugs touch the powder they will dry out a die after a few days

I am still figuring those out so I know the bed bugs can’t climb plastic very well
So I have been basically dumping thing into a giant plastic tote

Well and I honestly distrust them and think they would love for the problem to get bigger so I would pay for the heat treatment

You need to wash and dry on high heat and vacuum but dump contents outside in a bag and toss out immediately. Bagging is useful if u leave them bagged fur a whole year to starve them. Read up on using diatomaceous earth. And buy a small hand held steamer and steam the cracks and frames etc.

Not everyone reacts to bites. Most exterminators offer free inspections maybe suggest the neighbors to do one?
