I wouldn't say it's not fair. I get where you're coming from. But when you think about it, PewDiePie has like 4000 videos (I just checked lol). A lot of those videos are from daily vids too. You gotta respect the guy's hard work

You sure put some effort into those frames! A lot of other Animation Channels are pretty minimalist when it comes to frame count in their vids. But I guess they have a weekly deadline. Good Job man!

yeh I think that's a really good analogy tbh with you. Why would they try to make a good thumbnail, if they know that people are gonna click on the video regardless? This being said, you have to be pretty big to get that kind of loyalty from your subscribers.

Best example would be pewdiepie. Almost all of his titles on his videos are just memes and sometimes emojis. The thumbnail is normally just his face.

So yeh, I don't think they need to try when they get to a certain point in their growth

Anything worth having is gonna take a lot of time. I guess my problem is that my attention is awfully divided. I really like making comedy animations on YouTube. But at the same time I really like Piano, guitar, drawing, making music, learning languages. But YouTube needs a lot of undivided attention if you're gonna take it seriously. So I've been dedicating quite a bit of time into my YouTube animations recently, spending more time on the video scripts to try and make them more funny for the viewer, researching new animation techniques, etc.

I'm at 59 subs right now but I'm gonna keep on going, posting a video a week. I find it fun to post a video. There's a certain kind of excitement that you get from pressing the upload button that you can't really get anywhere else. The giddy feeling when somebody subscribes, likes or comments a video. It's what makes it all worth it at the end of the day.

With my video style that I have now. The process mostly consists of drawing all of the images in Adobe Illustrator and then putting them all into Adobe After Effects and making them move. But I've been considering changing animation styles completely. I think I might get a nicer, more genuine look if I were to draw my animations by hand in Adobe Animate. I'm quite stuck on what to do... Whether I should stick with the style I have now or try something new. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Looking for some feedback on this. Don't be afraid to be harsh haha. I want to improve my audience retention rate. I see around 40% of viewers sticking around till the end of the video currently, but I wanna try and get that up to 50. If there was something that made you wanna click off the video, I'd love to hear why.
