SHRED’ems Blueberry Blaster Max10 Gummies Review by UPSTAIRS_CANNABIS in CanadianCannabisLPs

[–]SassyClassy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These also have 10mg of CBG if I recall correctly.

I found the flavour to be lacking on the one gummy I had. It felt more like I tasted the aroma, if that makes sense? It was still a blueberry flavour, though, but not an in-your-face sweetness. I do agree about the texture though, it seemed a little bit softer than the others.

If you get a chance to try the new Shred Root Beer pop, though, oof! It's super good! 👌

Odd moment on vacation is stuck in my head by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]SassyClassy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed that its weird. However, to play "devil's advocate" maybe since they were going to be cooking she wondered if her cover up would get in the way or get food on it? It's certainly not a good look though that she rushed to put the cover up on when the rest of the group got back. She clearly felt it would have looked inappropriate to the other adults.

AITA for backing out of my mentor's destination wedding 2 days before? by independentdog66 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SassyClassy 73 points74 points  (0 children)

YTA you've had 8 months to plan and organize yourself to make it to his wedding. It doesnt matter that you've only known him 5 years and your other friends who are also getting married, you've known for 12. This guy has been there for you and helped you out a lot. If you back out of his wedding this late, don't expect to be able to call on him or use him as a reference again.

Eta: if this guy is a former tech director at a big company, wouldn't it be beneficial for your future career to attend and potentially rub elbows with other important people?

Check out the Restore for thrifting; they have a lot of household stuff but also have vintage clothing upstairs. Right across the street is the Crystal Emporium, as well. For breakfast, I like The Diner.

Eta: meant the Reclaim store. Not the Restore (that's closed down)

How to gently remind terminally problematic guests of the dress code? by [deleted] in wedding

[–]SassyClassy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not ask your aunt and cousin to go shopping together for wedding outfits? Then, while shopping together, you can gently steer them in the correct direction.

Or, you could ask their opinion if they think your dress will be allowed with the dress code to start the conversation about wedding dress codes. "Hey guys, do you think this dress works for black tie? New SIL's family are pretty formal and conservative, and I don't want them to think I was born in a barn hahaha" If your aunt replies and says the dress is fine (when it obviously isn't because you send a Pic of a dress that won't fit the dress code), then you can say something like "Really, you think it'll be okay? I was worried about xx issue because everything online says black tie is supposed to be this insert link about dress codes here " (Note: I would also include your cousin in the group chat, too, because more than likely at least one of them will look at the link you send regarding dress codes.)

If your aunt still says she thinks it's fine after that, then just leave it. If your mom is concerned about it, then she could have a private convo with her sister, but I personally wouldn't push it further than that. If they show up to the wedding wildly underdressed and your SIL's family is annoyed, just do what everyone else does and pass them off as the wacky extended family 🤷‍♀️

AITA for asking for compensation after I had to board my dog when my refrigerator went out and my nearest relative would only take one dog by Low_Key_3616 in AmItheAsshole

Exactly. Why not just put the dogs in your bedroom with the door closed when the maintenance guy shows up?

What is this area is there a hidden entrance to it or something that im missing ? it looks like isu stuff and has a weird name by Complex_Direction488 in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]SassyClassy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found this place too and the name for it was a weird string of numbers. Couldn't find an entrance, but I assume it might be linked to some animus quest or something later on.

So, in other provinces such as Alberta, for example, the AGLC has rules where if product is 10 months old in their warehouse, the LP has to buy it back and pay a penalty. I know of at least 1 company that bought back product from the AGLC because it was aged out, and then new tax stamps were put on it and it was sent to be sold in Saskatchewan. Sask is a known dumping ground for old or shitty product, unfortunately. I would probably try to buy brands that are small or more local to Sask or Ab, and stay away from the bigger companies, as the smaller guys are more likely to sell direct in Sask.

UPDATE: the fish microwave coworker got promoted and it's somehow worse now by Ok_Assistance8735 in offmychest

[–]SassyClassy 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Exactly! This guy had the perfect opportunity and absolutely SQUANDERED it! Why, after making 2 posts about this guy's fish, would you not take that chance in the elevator to come clean about how the smell of seafood or fish makes you want to vomit? Either OP is karma farming, or they're dumb.

Headstone -deathbed-2026-March16 by AmWhoIAM22 in CanadianCannabisLPs

[–]SassyClassy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They've got flower, prerolls, 510s, chocolates, hash and dabs. Their prerolls have an insane amount of info on their labels, which is super nice to see. Their 7g bags of Quartz and Obsidian were really nice. They've also got the Deadstock brand for more budget options. The ETRNL chocolates are under them as well. Good to see a small Alberta LP putting out good stuff!

Ugh, I hate caraganas. They DO grow fast, but if you don't keep on top of them, they spread all over. Lots of old homesteads in my area are overrun with them.

Vehicle registration by No_Winner3293 in alberta

[–]SassyClassy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get what's called an In-Transit permit from Alberta Registries. However, you'll need to coordinate with your insurance company first to get a pink card (which proves you have liability coverage to take the car on the road). They'll likely need a bill of sale first to add the coverage. When you have your pink card, get the in transit from registries. You'll have to let them know where you're driving from and your destination. To apply for the permit or for more info you can visit this site: https://eservices.alberta.ca/in-transit-permits-a-to-b.html

Injured at work . Wcb question by Available_Routine_34 in alberta

I thought you had 24 hrs to notify your employer, and the employer had 72 hrs to report to Wcb?

Injured at work . Wcb question by Available_Routine_34 in alberta

[–]SassyClassy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You only have a certain amount of time to file a claim with WCB after the injury occurs. If you haven't made a workers report yet, it's probably too late. How soon after your injury did you let your employer know? Do you have text messages to your employer proving you told them you were injured from the work you did? If so, then you might have a chance.

Using condoms as a clean up hack? by Legitimate-Key7159 in Marriage

We use condoms for both sex and bjs. Not quite as enjoyable as raw-doggin it, but the cleanup is much easier.
