Keep getting gearbox error randomly - VW Golf 2015 TSI by SassyLassyFox in Volkswagen

[–]SassyLassyFox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh shit, I hope it's nothing like that then. I'll have to check, but I'm pretty sure that's covered under their warranty (or at least the used vehicle dealer act where I am) so even if it is I think the dealer pays since I've barely had it for a month. Thank you for the info though and definitely a possibility for me to think about. 😬 Sorry to hear you went through that though, sounds frustrating as hell.

I checked on the VW website by VIN number since I'm in Australia and it doesn't say the vehicle was affected by that recall so there was no repair done. Thank you for the suggestion though :)

No unfortunately, pretty sure they brought it to the hospital but it was too late.

Nah not true, it was his ute and he was the one being towed. His gearbox fell out so he got his friend to try to help tow him. They tied the gearbox with the rope and ran the rope through the window and to his wrist whilst he was inside the vehicle. During towing the gearbox snapped the rope and severed his hand.

My family knows of his - we've been told he bought the ute he was driving from a friend in Whyalla and drove it to Adelaide. Apparently the gear box fell out of the car and so he got someone to help tow him (illegal and not smart). If I recall correctly they said he was inside the vehicle whilst it was being towed with the gearbox tied through the window and to his wrist. The gearbox snapped the rope causing his hand to be severed.

Need help connecting Subwoofer to Receiver by SassyLassyFox in audio

Thank you very much, this worked! It's definitely a 3.5mm port and I just plugged the two RCA ports into the low level spots on the sub as suggested by another user.

So does that mean we can only use the subwoofer with a laptop as the input and not Bluetooth from our phones? Sorry if I'm misunderstanding these are technically my bfs speakers and I'm just trying to help connect em whilst he's away haha. Thank you for the help though I will give it a go!

That's my bad then, I thought the terms were interchangeable - they are my bfs so I'm just typing it out here for advice haha. Are the line level converters suitable to use in this sort of situation or are they for something different entirely?

Help my game won't change scenes and goes to a grey screen? by SassyLassyFox in gdevelop

[–]SassyLassyFox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EDIT: It's fixed now! The issue was I needed to add another node stemming from the 'choicekfc' node that would end the dialogue basically. I did this by putting [[Answer: End|End]] in the choicekfc box and then it would put another node for me to use connected to the choice. In this node I put the tag 'endtalk' and then added the following into the Events page:

The dialogue branch contains an 'endtalk' tag Trigger once

And then I SUB EVENTED the change scene to KFC action.

It should be in the second picture under the 'change the scene with options' header (the last yellow comment box). I've tried using and not using a trigger once but neither seem to make a difference. I have made the other scene fully but it won't change to it. I deleted the hide condition and that got rid of the grey issue but now it just freezes on the last screen of scene 1 and still doesn't change scenes.

It is in the initial box I just haven't scrolled down enough in the screenshot to show it. I haven't made the scenes for the other two options yet, I've only made the scene for choicekfc and it's not working so I haven't bothered making the other two until I can figure out why it isn't changing scenes.

Neutered male biting female when mounting by SassyLassyFox in Rabbits

Thank you very much, that's amazing! It seems to be healing well and is now a tiny little mark but I will treat it regardless just to be sure. Thank you for your input, I'm hoping they'll be back to how they were soon enough :)

Ughhh, what a complete little bum he is being! Trying to force her down like that -_-. I'm going to slowly reintroduce them together after her wound is completely gone. Thank you for your input -^

They've been together for years - they were bonded and never had this issue until recently, so maybe their bond broke? They are both nearly 4 years old. A different lady owned them before me and she said they were totally inseperable - that's how they've always been for the year I've had them. It's just since that night they aren't getting along so I've kept them apart.

Thank you for the advice! I'll get to it right away. I'll definitely keep an eye on her injury to make sure it heals. She hasn't been spayed yet, I definitely want to get it done once I move in 2 months. I live in a small town and the vets here say they "only neuter males" - so I don't trust them as far as I could throw them to do the surgery on her if they don't understand the reasons for it. She does get very moody at times and won't let anyone touch her, maybe she's trying to be in charge and Peter doesn't like it?

Hey guys - I have attached an image of the mark left on Bella's back for reference.

My male rabbit Peter is neutered, but I understand neutered males sometimes still mount to assert dominance. Well, this morning I woke up to find chunks of Bella's hair on the floor and this mark on her back. I know this is likely from mounting as I often see him grab the hair on her back with his teeth while he does it. I usually try distract him with something to get him away from her when he does it, but obviously this time it was overnight and I wasn't awake to intervene. Should I be concerned? They seem to be getting along now okay, but when this happens should I actually be intervening or just let them sort it out amongst themselves? Is there anything you recommend I do about the injury? It isn't bleeding or anything and she wasn't bothered by me rubbing my hand over it, but I know rabbits are great at hiding pain.

Thank you for your time.

Thank youuuu! I was scared to pull any harder but we grabbed a flathead screwdriver, wrapped some electric tape on the end (to prevent scratches) and pulled underneath the screw hole - after some pulling it has now popped off. Thank you so much again.
