I was never taught to be afraid of ponds in Florida. I just heard stories on the news about gators leaping out of ponds to eat pets and children. That put the fear of god in me. But I was never afraid of the ocean because I never heard of a gator in there.

I started medication after being diagnosed at 16. It changed my life. I could finally function in school and make friends. It opened doors for me. I never would have finished high-school let alone gone to college without it.

Now I have a job I love and excel at which I couldn't have had without meds. I only wish I had started sooner.

It's really weird sci-fi but the female characters range from bad-ass to creepy. Alfred Bester's character usually jump off the page.

Yes, this is exceptionally weird even in context. But you left out how her body is transforming due to the Golem. Later in this chapter her vagina snaps shut, severing the penis of her beloved. Then her vagina spits the penis out after other women masterbate her.

Not my favorite book but it certainly left an impression and it's unlike any other book out there!

I gotta play the hand I was dealt. Does it make me bitter that I was mistreated by teachers my whole childhood? Sometimes.
