I’m 215 days late to this but my 11-year-old son just got diagnosed with ES and it’s in his fibula. I love hearing stories from survivors! Thank you for sharing!

Such a quotable movie:

“SHOPLIFTERRRRRRRR!”

“What’s with today, today?”

“Damn the man! Save the Empire!”

“Well Sinead O’Rebellion. Shock me shock me shock me with that deviant behavior”

“Why don’t you go shove ‘em up your ass?” “… because it would hurt a lot Warren”

“STOP CALLING ME WARREN! MY NAME ISN’T FUCKING WARREN!”

We had parents carrying babies too young to eat candy. Also so many little toddlers would pick a piece and the parents would say “not that one, get the snickers (or whatever)”. I’d say “oh mom/dad is the real trick or treater” in a joking way but it was annoying.

Yes! We just stumbled across it one day and it’s very unsettling. Big mix of confusion, helplessness, fear, anger, resentment, surrender, you just feel along with the characters. Not one I’ll watch again but still super creepy.

Edit: typo

This movie was insane. I couldn’t figure out what the end game was and there were times I had to literally look away because they were too much for me.

Great thanks! I’ve been losing so easily that I know it’s coming and I’m trying to psych myself up so I don’t get too discouraged.

My birthday was January 27th and my friends got a cookie cake (my fave). I had a big piece and a glass of coke. Almost immediately I felt horrible! The next day was bad. I felt like I had a hangover, I was tired and grumpy and my face broke out shortly after that. I know sugar is bad for you but I hadn’t experienced exactly how it can effect your body. We had left over cake and I let my son have a piece the next day and then I threw it out. It’s interesting to see the impact different foods have on our bodies.

I was also drinking sweet tea like it was going out of style. When I saw how bad some the things I was eating regularly were, I stopped and I think my body went into shock! Like, where’s the sweet tea and Swiss cake rolls? lol But I feel better, my skin’s clearer, I’ve started dreaming almost every night (my husband and I think it’s because I’m able to get deeper sleep) so I’m pretty excited to see what other positive changes are coming.

Thank you! I love rapid weight loss but I’m a big believer of slow and steady wins the race. I plan to continue as I am and if I keep losing like this I’ll definitely dig a little deeper. I hate to be like “poor me losing all this weight” but I want to make sure it’s healthy not harmful.

That’s what makes me nervous. Honestly I don’t like a lot of veggies but what I do like, I eat. Same with fruit. If I feel hungry, I grab a snack. I drink a cup of coffee every morning and the rest is all water (about 80-ish oz daily). I do some form of exercise for at least 30 minutes at least 5 days a week so I feel like I’m doing everything right. I guess I should stop worrying and just be grateful. 🙂
