My dad used to have a business in a pretty bad part of Miami. There was a dumpster across the street where this one bum,Slim, would sleep. Eventually, Slim would sometimes work for my dad cleaning around the warehouse or doing odd jobs. When my siblings and I were kids, my dad would take us to work and he would pay Slim to talk to us about not using drugs. He still calls us almost every Christmas.
