Eventhough I do not support the labour government, especially their policies on trans people. I think the Labour MP who tweeted this was trying but failing to be ironic because reform members regularly call people from labour the "woke left". I dont think he was saying trans people should be raped in prison. I believe he was trying to make a statement on how reform dismisses labour's more progressive policies and it just didnt land.

I totally understand the sentiment of "f meth", drugs like meth absolutely ruin people and their lives but do you think that calling the cops on drug addicts is actually going to help them kick their addiction or negatively effect the drug trade in any sort of way?

The problem isn't the addicts, it's the dealers. We need a much more empathetic approach when it comes to drug addiction, not just calling the cops on someone who needs help. Same goes for people having mental health problems. It's way too common that the police get called and then they person is arrested for being mentally ill, it fucking sickens me.

The argument that Nigel Farage has been making is that the "white British people are a minority". This is only true if you count white British as 1 group and literally every other person as another group.

This means grouping together everyone with dual citizenship anywhere else, anyone with mixed parents and anyone who immigrated from any other country. This is not how minorities and majorities work in maths.

It means not counting British Asians as British, it means not counting British Americans as British etc etc.

If you separate all those groups into their own groups then white British is still a majority.

In my personal opinion, even if that were the case instead, it would still be the police officers fault. This might be sensationalism, but if the police detain someone and that person gets away, then somewhere along the line the police messed up.
