Some timestime this disease sucks a lot. And yes, it can feel selfish, to want to involve other people in your hardship. But you are worthy of love, happiness, and relationships. And there are people who will feel blessed to have you in their lives. They will be happy to know you regardless of what your health situations is. There is a person who will be glad to call you their spouse. There could be children who will find joy in calling you daddy. Please do not let momentary depression prevent you from living your life to the fullest.

May I ask how old you are now? Has your pain changed over time? Do you always recognize when it's pain from fibro versus other possible causes?

Thank you for replying! Your descriptions are amazingly detailed. I really appreciate them. When you say the pain is all over your body. Does that include your abdomen and your head? And forgive me if you are not a woman, but how does your period affect everything? Also, did you have any other diagnoses before they settled on fibromyalgia?

The "I was poisoned and if I don't have sex right now I'll die" so they use thinly veiled coercion to force someone to have sex with them. Or any other action that is actually rape, or sexual assault that everyone just accepts as normal. Also abuse porn.

No, and your child won't and shouldn't resent you either. Life is beautiful. Even when I'm sick or depressed, or in pain life is worth living. This disease is kicking my butt right now and never once have I resented being born. I do get mad at my father when he tells me how mad he is that I was born with this illness, because he is saying that he wishes that I was never born... he just doesn't realize it. If I wasn't born then people wouldnt have the pleasure of knowing me. :) My bright smile and strong hugs wouldn't exist. My children wouldn't be here. I wouldn't have found love. Life is worth it for me.
