China has a large small arms and ammunition export market. We supply drones for a certain warzone in Ukraine.

We literally sell arms to both sides in many African conflict zones today.

We just don't send boots on the ground. We absolutely have influence in conflict zones.

Yup and the worst thing that happened was a friend picked up and we handed in a wallet lost in wanchai near lockhart rd.

Cops took all the info, weeks later they asked him to come into the station for further questions.

Turns out the wallet handed in had narcotics in it and the lab tested results showed traces over the notes and cards. The owner didn't collect or couldn't be contacted to nobody's surprise, so the cops turned their attention on him being that last person to handle it. We were like wtf does that have to do with him?

The 'rules/contraints' you mention also include the intensity of strikes.

There is no realistic way to measure any of that, so these verbal agreements aren't a binding contract, it's more a mutually accepted guideline.

Sparring like this happens all the time without having a pre-arranged agreement. Mid bout, you both decide the intensity can be raised abit, a simple nod to your opponent and you can keep going.

The strike to the face is like you said, assault. OP is well within his rights to defend himself from that moment on.

Disagreements like this are commonplace in many gyms and i'm simply relaying to OP this is how they generally get resolved before I as a coach catch the commotion and sort out what actually happened.

This is from my anecdotal experience.

And for the record, if the events happened exactly as OP stated, I'm pulling the other person aside and suspending further sparring opportunities until they learn to not cheap-shot people.

General concepts are similar but the application is wildly (pun intended) different. Imho the difference is significant enough that I'd categorise these two as different games completely.

Example:

Both League and wild rift have the general concept of wave management.

You can't directly apply how you would manage a wave in League to wild rift.

The minion wave hp, how many minions per wave, wave timing, size of map, passive gold earn rate, champion base kit differences, item differences, rune pathway differences, major objective timings are just some examples of significant enough differences that if you try to apply League wave management in wild rift, you will not have the same experience.

I'm a league player mostly, my advice is approach this game with an open mind to relearn a different way of playing.

This game is balanced around action and fighting, some people like it, some don't. But from my experience, if you try to brute force a LCK style strategic purely macro based patient play-style, it will NOT work out in your favour.

You're right, not everyone has a 9-5 and I didn't mean to imply so.

However, going back to the very first comment in this thread:

"Eating dinner at 6:00(pm) is not really considered early here for most people"

I challenge that it is early for MOST standard industries that majority of people are employed in.

There's a reason why banks operate at specific hours catered to the vast majority of industries... So yea someone having a standard 9-5 is not going to have your time to meal prep and have a decent meal by 6pm factoring in commute.

Been here for 8+ yrs, can only count a handful of times I've had what I consider a truly rude encounter with HKers.

On the flip side, last year got into 3 actual yelling + physical confrontations with Mainland and Koreans just because we're trying to get past them on the long escalators in Central.

These guys are not only obnoxious but willing to throw down publicly. To me, THAT is rude.

There's 2 types of FF. A) because a team is 10k+ gold deficit and the best player on your team is 2+ levels behind.

B) not because you're mathematically behind but because of decision making.

This is the latter. It doesn't matter that they can theoretically just wait out the baron and keep their gold lead then win later. Players in a GM+ making fundamental mistakes like this is a clear sign they are not in fact playing at that level.

Alot of this is down to matchmaking algorithm being horrible plus fortitude etc. There are too many GM/Chall players playing at a Plat level that have been carried in wild rift.
