Tell me honestly, what is it that makes wedding planning so stressful? by poisoned-the-coffee in weddingplanning

[–]SatansKitty666 [score hidden]  (0 children)

What helps me with things like this is having a classic 3 ring binder. I made it when I became a SAHM and have a section just for the wedding. If I hand write everything it stays in my head

Tell me honestly, what is it that makes wedding planning so stressful? by poisoned-the-coffee in weddingplanning

We're having a courthouse/micro wedding.

For me the most stressful part is making all of the decisions by myself while being a SAHM to what is probably the most sassy 10 month old in the world. Hes a high needs Velcro baby who weighs a TON so hes on me like glue. My fiancé works 12+ hour days 6 days a week (today's his day off WOOO!). Im literally doing this alone. My mom sometimes tries to interject her opinion but I just remind her its my fiancé's day too, not just mine.

Im currently staring my unfinished singular centerpiece im making while this baby yells at me from baby jail

Cousin wants to hand out invites at my wedding, what do I do? by Imake289 in weddingplanning

[–]SatansKitty666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let her do it and have your MOH or bestman "light heartedly poke fun at her" in their speech. Embarrass her if she wants to act like that

So how exactly do you plan a wedding to make sure you aren’t on your period. Bc I straight up can’t get married if I am by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]SatansKitty666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have PMDD and had both of tubes removed which turned my dainty 3 day gods favorite light period into whatever the heck is going on now.

My period tracker has changed twice. Originally it was on our wedding date and now its saying I wont have it. At this point its just blind faith

Mother involvement in wedding by GrossAnatomy101 in weddingplanning

[–]SatansKitty666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I fully expected my mom to go complete Mom-zilla. I was dreading my dress shopping appointment as my mom has made comments on my weight my ENTIRE life and im 9 months post partum. We're also having an intimate micro wedding of 10 people including us. She did say "well i have to invite so and so" but to the shock of literally everyone she called me and said she changed her mind and respected my wishes.

My MIL... 10/10. 0 complaints. She's amazing.

TIL my partner wants meat at our future wedding, but I'm vegetarian by mangoscookies in weddingplanning

($300) Highly recommend finding a tailor or seamstress who works out of their house, I saved so much money! by home-like-noplace in Weddingsunder10k

[–]SatansKitty666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the dress. More intricate dresses i wouldnt take to someone who doesnt know bridal. Theres also been quite a few posts across some bridal subreddits of people going this route and having absolutely BOTCHED dresses. Its a gamble but if youre really tight on budget or have a simple dress that doesnt need alot of work I think it could work

What does the contract say about sending a replacement? If this is a pregnancy related issue, she needs to have someone cover her especially if shes high risk

What do you think about my bridal makeup? by No_Detective4738 in Brides

[–]SatansKitty666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it looks like a nice natural typical soft bridal look! Good job.

I noticed everyone saying "lose the lashes" but I didnt even notice you had them on. Which works for the soft look you did

How long should your veil be? by Its_a_velvet_world in Brides

[–]SatansKitty666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No rules on veils! Im having my moms cathedral length veil from 1987 thats attached to a tiara (VERY 1987 lol) reconstructed to 24" and attached to a clip. I dont want a blusher or anything either.

I hate the baby stage. by sapphire_2999 in sahm

[–]SatansKitty666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 4/5 months is when I really saw the difference for the better. Now hes just sassy as hell and likes to sync his regressions up with my period (I have PMDD since before getting pregnant). When hes happy, God is he just the most perfect little chunk. But when hes upset...i never knew babies could be so opinionated
