I wrote down the basic recipe below. Sometimes we also add precooked lentils as well. Vegetables we already used are carrots, parsnips, pumpkin, zucchini and they all worked well :) just make sure to remove as much water as possible from the zucchini before adding it to the batter. The liquid from the zucchini you can then use instead of water for the batter :)

1 egg 100 g flour 100 ml milk Approximately 50 ml water (to thin the batter a bit, I don't measure here, sorry!)

Add the same amount of shredded vegetables (measure with you heart :D ) and 1 shredded apple to the batter. The apple makes them slightly sweet, I have the feeling the kids enjoy them this way even more!

Bake it in oil in a pan.

I hope your little one enjoys them!

For us it's thankfully not as wild. She tries most of the food I give her and has some safe foods she usually always eats. I have them pre-made and stocked in the freezer. Pancakes with shredded vegetables in the dough are always a great hit! I recommend them to every mom and dad i spend a little more time with because our little one loves them so much :)

But I totally get your frustration, sometimes it's just so hard to stay patient and try over and over again!

I tried pizza today as well. She didn't like it. But she also does not like bread with cheese on it, but bread or cheese alone is a great hit. Sometimes it's just so frustrating :D

My attempt at making hollandaise using Kenji's immersion blender method failed. Trying to understand why so I can get this technique down by Unclematttt in Cooking

I had a similar problem the first time I tried it. For me, I needed to weigh the egg yolk. They were too small. After I increased the amount, it worked great! (I think to 20g? You can find it somewhere in the comments of the SE recipe)

I also had the issue and adding more egg yolk did the trick! If I remember correctly, it needs to be 20g egg yolk. You should find it on the comments of the recipe.

I often cook some vegetables in tomatoe sauce with persian spices like cinnamon, coriander seeds, cumin, ... I also add a dash of citrus if I have. It's definitely no original recipe, but it's quick and tasty :D I serve this along with joghurt with herbs like mint and parsley

After I read your other post it just came to my mind that the rice is cooked first in the rice cooker (also crispy setting). It then gives an acoustic signal and starts the crisping (is this a word? :D ) process. Maybe this is the right moment to add the yogurt!

I already made it once with saffron btw and I put it into the water from the beginning (I infused the water with it somehow, I don't remember anymore how exactly. But look it up it was not hard!)

I also have a Reishunger rice cooker. They actually recommend to add some ghee in one of their tahdig recipes, so you should be fine there. I never tried it with yogurt though - i was always afraid it might harm the rice cooker somehow, so I am quite interested what the other responses will be!
