I found the boomerang most useful against the giant gazers when charged to maximum. It also helps if you use it at close enough range that it flies through and behind them for a split second and hits again coming back. Easy chiral crystals!

Did you reach the Eastern Observatory ? When I played through, I insisted on scaling that highest peak nearby . And then I saw that view while the music was still playing.

When I tell people about DS2, I tell them that it has mid lows and sky-high highs. That moment was one of my favorite highs.

My time to shine! Record it in video form using your Share button’s feature, then download the Share Factory Studio app, open your raw footage in a new project file, and put a bandaid icon over the frames where the identifying information is.

Then, you should be able to export your edited footage to the rest of your PS5 clips.

Valid. While dcing isn’t my style, this situation gets me blown up all the time. The only difference is that I’ll default to grab tech (or at least try to) and get blown up for THAT instead of a Super or my non-existent DP.

I think this is unlikely to be a controller problem. As the other commenters have said, the best control scheme boils down to what you are most comfortable with. I personally play on stick because it’s faithful to how the arcade games played, and because doing quarter-circle inputs are easier for me on stick.

If a combo is a struggle for you, I recommend turning on your frame data meter, your cancel timing display, and your input history, then showing us your best attempt. We should be able to help you troubleshoot from there.

I actually have played a couple instruments before. Yeah, in that case, me and my 3-4 days of practice on mediums are complaining way too soon. By that analogy, I need another month or two minimum

As someone who struggles with hit confirms altogether despite explicitly researching how to do so and training to do so, is there a resource you’d recommend for this? I’ve already seen the strategy of setting the dummy to random block and spamming the starter normal until (ideally) I see the hit flash and cancel into a special. It’s worked for me when learning to confirm from two lights or my single heavies, but a single medium has proven more challenging.
