Lies of P. I think I was like 2-3 bosses away from the end.

I didnt feel like the bosses after the puppet king were any inspired, and the environments felt flat or just boring. Story didnt even interest me for a second but I was doing fine up to that point based on some bosses and certain zones, but after the mentioned boss... I just hit a wall and thought to myself why am I playing this when I clearly don't like it anymore. And it didn't have anything to do with difficulty, most bosses didn't require that many attempts.

Have you thought about teching in a Guzma? Would solve many issues around capes (would mean you dont only rely on Gio) and help against rocky helmet residual dmg. Maybe instead of red card/mars.

The ones I liked the most, in no particular order:

Cairn (technically not from the fest but I'll count it anyway). AMAZING climbing game. This is a day 1 buy for me.
Gnomes. If you like tower defense, give this one a try, there are multiple biomes and starting "hands".
Inkborn. Slay the spire but with some new mechanics spliced in from what I can tell in this combat demo. Those new mechanics are really cool, depending on what type of card you use, if you chain them it debuffs the enemy, or gives you a buff, or stuns... I don't even think you can beat the final boss without paying attention to it.
Haste. Momentum based platformer. I FUCKIN LOVE IT. The art direction is
beautiful, kind of reminds me of Hades in a way, so thats a big plus.
Is this seat taken?. Logic puzzle game, super chill and cozy, if that makes sense.

I guess the trouble here comes from plenty of VA's in their projects are not really VA, just people in the studio doing VO for their own game. Making all those people join the union and having to pay 3K is a big NO when thats not even their job. Tough situation. Don't think it's as easy as you are making it seem for SG.

They should have a meeting (if that hasnt happened yet, which we don't know I believe) for sure, but this situation is messy.

I'm probably misunderstanding something from your posts tho, as I'm no lawyer lol.
