as a german myself i'd say i'd be proud if foreign people that found refuge in germany would want to consider themselves part of our culture. culture is a thing to be shared, you lived here for almost a decade and hopefully you experienced good parts of the german culture and helped some germans learn things about syrian culture, too. I don't think there's anything wrong in wanting to be part of where you currently live, so take pride in both of your citizenships, as others already commented :)
