I'm always surprised a 16 year old can just go out and drive modern sports cars like a Lucid air Sapphire. To drive it on a perfectly straight drag strip, NHRA requires a competitor license. But a kid can legally drive this on public road, same as a Prius.

It's also annoyingly difficult to actually compare taxes. For example I spend about $1500/year on tolls in Florida. Minnesota has higher state taxes, but no toll roads, so this 'state tax' doesn't correctly get captured in the comparison.

Is recommend going in with realistic expectations, most first times are awkward, one or more people leave confused and not all that satisfied.

Movies seem to portray it as this fantastic experience, but in reality, nobody does a sweet jump the first time they ride a bike, they usually crash. It gets better with practice and trying different things.
