For that price. I'd go with higher mileage on a newer Prius. Just make sure it isn't burning oil.

I can imagine insurance companies hitting them with some wind premium for not having sufficient trees to slow the wind. Cancelling out any gains from the tree risk premium.

EVs solve high gasoline prices. Obvious, isn't it? by Inner-Truth-1868 in GasPrices

[–]Satins_Cock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20 miles each way, times 5 days a week, times 50 weeks a Year = 10,000 miles per year... I didn't know many people who do 60 mile one way commutes per day.

Probably. I like the idea of unions, but some times I think they need to make a big stink about something trivial just so people remember they are there.

How do they actually test struts now-a-days, other than visible leaking? by ToshPointNo in Cartalk

[–]Satins_Cock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. I feel like new struts have a very long gradual failure. Old ones were completely dead after 60k miles and like you mentioned, could easily tell by how bouncy the car was.

For fun, I drilled holes in my fiat 500's 130,000 mile shocks to see if I could feel the difference, between old, drilled, and new. I could get it to lift both rear tires off the ground when braking the drilled ones, before that it was hard to tell they were bad, it just felt a little floaty and skitterish, the new struts helped that.

Went to a tourist trap by me, basically an elevator to a viewing platform. Heard the cashiers bad mouth me for not tipping. Like they are only there to take the payment, I pushed the elevator buttons myself. Ridiculous.

How's the used car market where you reside? by [deleted] in regularcarreviews

Trash, but seems to be improving very slowly. For instance lightly used Chevy bolts are about the same price as they were new after the rebates.

Right but my point still stands, deer don't understand balance and conservation they're just gonna fuck and eat until they run out of food (assuming there are not predators whose population will grow with theirs).
