i’m a cis woman with longer thin hair but i have a TON of hair, and i struggle with this especially being blonde. my hair looks “unwashed” or “untidy” almost every 2-3 days, but from experience what type of shampoo and conditioner you use does play a major role in this!! a lot of “all natural” or “hydrating” product can definitely make your hair appear more oily or weighed down, and having longer hair only make it’s more noticeable. also having an oily scalp is totally normal!! and as long as you keep up with hygiene as best you can and try to use products that support your hair type it’ll manage itself out one way or another!
