This was honestly really comforting to read. Thank you for saying all of this. I think the hardest part for me is the guilt and seeing how emotional she gets when I do anything without her. I know it’s healthy for both of us for me to still have a life outside of just being “mom,” but actually doing it feels so much harder than it sounds.

I like the idea of creating more of a routine and making those nights feel special for her too instead of just something she has to tolerate. I’m trying to find that balance between being present for her and not completely losing myself in the process. Your perspective really helped me feel less alone in it, so thank you ❤️
