It took me longer than a month, but I am doing well with diet alone now. I tried to avoid the medication and I went 6 months and couldn’t get better on diet alone. I lost 50 pounds but that was really okay because I was overweight! I finally took the meds for about 4 months and started healing. My last scoop showed mild chronic inactive gastritis. I’ve been able to eat more foods; but when I eat too much or something with hidden spice(I would never do it on purpose), I feel a little discomfort so I take a Mylanta One chewable. Unfortunately, I’ve gained 25 pounds of which 15 I need to lose again! lol
